LiveJournal Permanent accounts

Well I have a paid account at LJ, but it only allows 15 User pics. It says that "permanent" accounts get 50, but I can't work out how to get a permanent account? In the paying options it only seems to let you choose 3 months/6 months/a year. :confused:

Permanent Accounts are usually given to LiveJournal developers or users who have volunteered a significant amount of time to the project. In the past, Permanent Accounts have also been sold, but these sales are infrequent. Any future sales of Permanent Accounts will be announced at http://www.livejournal.com/news.bml. In addition to having full access to the Paid Account benefits with no set expiration date, users with Permanent Accounts can:

* Upload up to 50 user pictures.

What would you ever need more than 15 pictures for? I maybe have one uploaded at a time.

The good thing about a permanent account is that you only have to pay once, rather than every three/six months or so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that to be the case.

I believe you can pay for extra user pictures.

Edit: And I'm correct. It costs $10 dollars for 12 months for extra pictures. Not a bad deal.
