See? You can have an answer I didn't cover... it just has to be BAoTW random and have nothing to do with the word 'hello'!

"Yo, man!"

Okay, that was quite unoriginal, but there's one way of saying hello which I've heard some people use:

"What the hell do you want!?"

S'up y'all, Howdy, Mornin', Afternoon and Evenin' are all acceptable forms of greeting in my house.

I'd rather just say "Hi", though.

*Bows head slightly* thats a usual one of mine just a small bow almost like a nod at someone works well. Also a causual "Dude" will work or "Hun" if its a girl you are talking to.

and another that I use with only a few friends *Salutes millitary style* with the comment "Soldier you are a disgrace! Get your sh*t together man else I'll kick your sh*t together!" its an old joke from when we were cadets (I was going in to the army but changed my mind at the last possible chance and so was actually reffered to as a soldier by that one sarge alone. dont know why) just think of a rather hot female staff sargent telling you that at a scream :D

Dogs as in the slang term spelt "Dawgs" used by that big "Randy" guy on American Idol (curse the day any of those shows were born apart from the german one who got won by a guy who sings rock music, although he was crap, curse it anyway!) a terrible choice of slang even though most slang is terrible this one is particulary bad and in the wrong area can achieve the same as calling women "Bitches" (pardon my language but it is being used in the context of female dog however it remains a degrading comment in the context) another way to say Hi would simply be:

"OI You! W****R!" used only with those you either know really well or those whom you really hate :D

I don't speak English in every-day life... but I do use these:

When addressed to:
"Aye?", "Eh?" "Mmm?" "Keh?" - the word 'ken' which means 'Yes' in Hebrew, and it's more casual-like when you drop the 'N'.

When addressing someone:
"Yo.", "Hi.", "Hey.", "Mah koreh" - which is Hebrew for "what's happening, what's up", "Shalom" - no need to explain that, I hope. :D

That's about all the regulars. I can also go "AHHHH CABBAGES!!! Hi.", but that's a rarity.
