Poor man... he's such a legend, too.
He'll not soon be forgotten, I'm sure, and his art will live on for a long time yet.

He definitely achieved a lot from a life beset with struggles and setbacks.

I knew you'd say that.

He will be missed.

Ray Charles was a giant among greats in the world of music. I had the privilege of seeing him perform live a few years ago when I was in NYC and he really was as good as advertised.

Just like Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles began playing music at such a young age, and never let his lack of sight hinder him in any way. His music was always so full of soul and passion, that it was nearly impossible to resist at least tapping your toes or humming along. You could tell that he never reallt took his talents for granted, probably because of the life he'd lived, the troubles he'd had, and the various obstacles thrown in his path.

Thank you so much for the wonderful music that will be sure to live on many generations.

Take care all.

I enjoyed his brief stint in "Spy Hard" with Leslie Nielsen. He played a blind bus driver, which was, as you can imagine, hilarious. I can still remember his words: "Next stop - Sunset Boulevard. At least I think it's Sunset Boulevard..." And yes, he did actually star in the film, as opposed to an actor pretending to be Ray Charles.

I didn't get the chance to enjoy his music. I've heard his singing briefly on certain adverts and television programs, and it sounds quite relaxing.

Condolences to the Family, of course.
