Hi again!

As usual, I have more questions, but this time they're all about weapons

First of all, where can I get the required items to be able to buy Lion Heart?

and how can I cause the most damage to my enemy using weapons?

Well to do the most damage you must trigger, a lot of people forget about it so they hit low :\ so just in case you don't know hit R1 just as you're about to slash an anemy (it only works for squall as far as i know) And how to get LionHeart, just look at the strategy guide (on this site), i think they have it...

It's possible to trigger with Rinoa, Zell and Selphie to so maybe you can with the others to. But they require alot more timing and is much harder to get. Rinoa is however not all that hard. I can trigger at the rigth time with her about 40% of the times.

edit: nope, it's not possible. It was just that I got crictial strike everytime I pressed R1 by pure luck.

As ChaosCalibur said for Squall you press R1 just when his gunblade is about to hit the target. When you get a *Crictial hit* with Squll you'll see an explosion at the end of the gunblade. With the other ones the Screen just flach wite for a sec. To trigger with Rinoa (this one is alot harder than Squall): The projectile goes in a wide bow. Press R1 just a short sec after the projectile start to dive down at the target. Selphie (this one is a little harder than Rinoa): It was long ago I used her because I don't use her often, however she swings the weapon back and then towards the target. Press R1 exactly when she start to swing it towards the target (I think that was the way to do it but I'm not 100% sure). Zell (this one is the hardest): Zell hits with his fists 2 times. Just before he hits for the second time, press R1.

Squall is uber easy, I trigger with him 99,9999999% of the times but the others require very good timing.

Dragon fangs can easiest be obtained from Blue Dragons. They can be found on the Island closest to hell and some other places (don't know exactly were). To get Pulse ammo, refine some Energy crystals with Ifrits AmmoRF. Energy crystals can be obtained from Elnoyles and Ruby Dragons. RDragons can be found on Island closest to hell and in Deep sea reserch center and Elnoyles can be found in Esthar. Both can be found in you-know-whos-castle. Hmmmm... what was the other items that you needed... I don't remember.

Ummmmmmm... well, to begin with you can get admantines from a turtle monster at some bays near dollet. You need to be on disc 3 or 4 and have the Ragnarok (a flying ship) to get to the Island closest to hell. It's the island farest to the left of all islands on the world map. You will only encounter powerful enemies there.

On the menu, go to *ability* and press X. There you will find all RF abilities and some other stuff that your GF's have learned. There you will find it, if Ifrit has learned the AmmoRF ability. You use it to change stuff into ammos.

If you have trouble getting the Energy crystals you should go to Battleship island located in the corner of the map. You can't see the island on the map however. Just search for a bit in the corners and you should find it. Get there with the Ragnarok. In the island you will see a blue pillar in the midle of a room. stay still as the pillar shine and go towards it when it does not. When you reach it you will get questions from Bahamut. Each time you answere you will encounter a Ruby Dragon and each time you chose the wrong aswere you will have to answere the question again. The last answere is hidden. You will face Bahamut and if you beat him you will get him as a GF. He has an ability called Rare item. When that ability is equiped you will obtain *rare items* more easy. You may also get some Crystals from the RDragons.

you mean it's where the deep sea research is? actually I went there many times and every time I try to reach the core the monsters there fight me, I can't move even a step without facing a monster! what shall I do to reach the core? and they're also strong and not easily defeated (it takes a lot of time) :(

to get to the core step only when the glow is dull and then answer the questions correctly (cant remember all the questions that come up after 5 of them though the battle with bahamut starts)

I wonder if facing that Ruby Dragon is a part of getting Bahamut? after I answer the first question, the ruby dragon fights me, I can't reach the battle with Bahamut with good HP after fighting him, actually he sometimes make all my party in KO status from the first spell he uses, it's breath!

You can get all the items you need by refining cards but it helps if you've been playing TT from the start. I can usually end up with punishment by the end of disc one using this method.

As for damage- why not junction 100 deaths or 100 zombies to your status attack. Using death you can instant kill most enemies in 1 hit. If you zombie you can then cast life or use the GF abilities recover and revive to defeat an enemy.

If you wanna get Bahamut, you might want to have GFs Cactuar and Odin first. Odin is in the ruins on the Centra continent, North of Edea's house. Enc-None with Diablos is needed. Cactuar is on Cactuar Island. You need to touch the green dot popping up on the island and fight the Jumbo Cactuar.

After having these, Bahamut's Quest is a snap. Get to the core, taking steps when the light is off, and answer the first question with the 1st answer. Ruby Dragopn will attack. As the battle loads, quickly move the Left and Right Analog Sticks in alternative up and down motions. This greatly increses the chance of Odin appearing and killing it. One down. Next, is the second question. Answer with the second answer. Next fight. Try the Odin trick again. It probably won't work, but it's worth a shot. If it doesn't work, use Cactuar's Kamikaze ability on the Dragon. Then have your remaining two characters beat him up. Now, answer the third question with the third answer (invisible). Fight Bahamut. Use Alexander's Revive on the character who used Kamikaze. Kamikaze again. Beat Bahamut up. You win.

ansem that is a crap way of killing ruby dragons I have to say, I expected beter tatics than just kamakazi ones from you. The easiest by far way to defeat a ruby dragon is to use the tonberry level down ability that way you can make it a level 5 ruby dragon with little over 3000 HP one good hit and its dead. although I prefer to cast level up to take them to level 100 (any monster) just for the hell of it before I eat them up with devour :D 10 ruby dragons....pshh 10 dinners comming up :D

I'll admit it's a cheap way of winning, but a Ruby Dragon's Breath can wipe out almost any party. I finally just got mad and used that strategy over the 'Let's kick their asses!' theme.

Same with Adel. >.< Sooooo difficult.

it's a command ability that comes with tonberry gf (defeat I think it's around 30 - 40 tonberrys without leaving the centra ruins and then defeat the gf to get him.) set it and use it easy as that it has around 90% success rate

More on Odin: I think he appears based on your Luck Stat. If so, GF Cactuar's Luck-J is your friend.

once set for battle (I suggest dropping the draw command for it) just select it in battle and watch the monster drop 5 levels

Did you junction Water to your Elem-Atk? You'll do 9999 damage with every strike this way. That makes Zell's Limit Break absolutely vicious. Just Punch Rush, Booya, Punch Rush, Booya, etc. Just cast Aura on him or give him a Hero after the Jumbo Cactuar uses Ker Plunk and takes all characters down to yellow HP. Zell will be able to use duel every turn for about 99990 damage (if you use the PR,B combo). Jumbo Cactuar will fall.

is it part of the game that Odin gets defeated in the battle against Seifer in disc 3?

well, it seems that I'm having some problems with Adel at the beginning of disc 4 :D

I belive I told you how to defeat Adel. If you didn't get Cactuar, I can't help you other than saying to Junction well to your strength.

Did you get Bahamut? If you did then Adel shouldn't be to much of a problem. Junction the str+60% and don't forget to heal Rinoa. If you have any meltdowns, then use them until Adels colours change to more purple. When you meltdown a target their defense is greatly reduced. Also, NEVER use any attacks that hit all targets. If Rinoa dies you will get Game Over. Also, if you return to the battleship island later on disc 4 (you can't do it rigth now because you can't return to ragnarok before... well, later on disc4) you will be able to climb down to another location. If you reach the end of this place you will face one of the hardest bosses in the game. You can draw Eden (the most powerfull GF) from that boss. Well, that's it.

I don't think you should start the figth by using kamikze. I actually think it's a bad idea to use it at all since the character who use it wont get any AP. If you think that your characters are to weak, then try to use some of the MAG-RF Abilities to get more Magics for your characters to junction. Don't give up, you'll beat her soon. ;)

Squalls HP is too low. It should be 9999. I had it there by the end of Disc 1. Try junctioning 100 Curagas to his HP. You can use Siren's Life Mag-Ref on Tents, Wizard Stones and Cottages.

Kamakaze?????? what the heck for????? there is no fight in the entire game that i would use that move for!!!!! anyway.......easiest way to beat adel is Cerberus, Aura for Sephlie, meltdown, use that spell that heals every once in a while (i forget name) on Rinoa, kick but with slot attacks and regular/ Aura attacks after using spell defenses. end of discussion.

Well, I think I used a point from each strategy, first I made Squall's HP 9999, then I strated attacking her using magic, at last I used Kamikaze :D
