So what do you do to make money? Got a job or are you a lazy bum and get an allowance? Or are you currently "in between of jobs"? If ya have a job, what do you do, how many hours per week and what is your hourly rate (or salary)? And if it applies, what union are you in?

As for me, I work at a place called National Grocers, which supplies all the stuff to Zehrs, Loblaws, etc. What I do there, is drive around the warehouse on a Jigger putting various boxes onto a skid or two. When I'm done, I wrap it up, put it in the right place and start all over again. I work aboot 5 days a week 3:00pm to 11:00pm at $12.28 Canadian/hr. The union I'm in is called UFCW Local 1000A.

Now, what aboot the rest of ya?

I am on my summer holiday from uni at the mo. I work behind the bar for a massive health club within a European chain. It's great, the work is easy and the people are great. The receptionists are all hot and there is never a shortage of MILF early in the morning and young lady's aged between 16 and 25. Sometimes it's not even like work.....

I work full time as an Electronic Mapping Technician for San Diego Gas & Electric.

To sum up my job: I draw lines on a computer. I'm like a drafter, only without the pen and paper.

I've been working for close to three years now, and I save a set amount of money each week.

At the moment, it's mounting up in my bank account. :)

I am currently in a phase of unemployment. As soon as these bureaucratic morons get off their butts and process me through the system, I will... ah, screw it! I'm a lazy bum who gets money from his parents. HAPPY?

I wish my parents would give me money. :( I've had to have a job and pay for my own stuff since I was 13. $10 a week sin't much though.

Yes it is.
It's enough to keep me alive.
See this guy who works at Macdonalds...yea if I give him $10 a week he'll smuggle out a whole lot of food from macdonalds for me. Everyday of the week. I jus need to give him $10 a week then fast food for me the whole week.
Hahaha. I'm so happy.
But $10 is pathetic. But I don't like working. So I eat.

Well, I do have enough scholorships to get paid to go to college, but I also work at the McDonalds. :choc: Despite the fact that I do everything but be a manager (although I am usually the one placed in charge when the manager leaves/ goes on break :choc: ), I make a grand total of $5.90 (USD) an hour. After 3 raises... :choc: :choc:

i envy you sonny jim i'm working in a supermarket over the summer and all i see is a bunch of smack heads and really old women, if a decent looking lady comes in the sercurity guard gets all excited and checks her out on the security cameras. However it is fun chasing the people when they try to steal bottles of pernod (???).

So what do you do to make money? Got a job or are you a lazy bum and get an allowance? I have a job.
Or are you currently "in between of jobs"? No.
If ya have a job, what do you do, how many hours per week and what is your hourly rate (or salary)? I have three casual positions in an old folks home. I do everything that is clerical as well as Accounts Payable and Receivable. I also produce two newletters per week for the residents. Lately I've been working three days a week, which amounts to 22 hours at the standard union rate of around $18.00 per hour (Canadian) for this position. We just lost 15% off of our wages. It varies though. Sometimes I work 30 - 35 hours a week.
And if it applies, what union are you in? HEU. The Hospital Employees Union.
