How to fix a game.

I was playing FF9 and when i got to the lifa tree in battle there was no one there but the battlefield and music was there. How can i fix it.

Unfortunately, I'd first try resetting the game. Hopefully you've saved recently. Otherwise, there may be a glitch on your disc. Do you notice any scratches on the surface of the disc? That could be your problem and the most likely solution would be getting the game replaced.

You could also try a CD clean or something.

i've had that happen to both VII and IX...the problem is probably the disc; which needs cleaning...if it keeps up then i would say the disk is damaged. That happened to my VII and I had to go buy a whole new game.
