Well I dunno why, but all of a sudden all the videos I got on my computer no longer will show up when I try to play them in Real Player or Windows Media Player. They just show up as sound with no images. So anyone have any idea how to fix this?

You've installed a codec pack you shouldn't and it's ruined your system codecs - uninstall it. Chances are though, being the dodgy codec pack it is, it'll remove legit codecs too when you do that, so that'll not fix anything, only remove the problem software. From there, you install good copies of codecs, not using codec packs. In summary, codec packs are evil :p Also avoid RealOne/Real Player/variants.

Or the simple solution, reinstall Windows (and this is not a joke like in other threads), since that will fix broken codecs too :D You'll still have to install good copies of newer codecs afterwards though to play newer things like DivX/XviD.

Ya I was thinking that new codec pack I installed had something to do with it. I already deleted before all these problems became aware to me though.

Anywho umm since I got my codecs a while ago, I can't remember where to get them unless download.com was where I got it, so do you happen to know of the place to get them? (Man I really need to bookmark important download sites >_<)
