Yes, that happened to me just yesterday. I went to edit one of my posts, but instead of just getting the first post editted, I ended up with two posts. I don't know how that happened because it wasn't even an accident, in my opinion, because I followed all of the correct steps.

Oh well, you then just have to click on your edit/delte button and edit again. :)

I think the majority of us have double-posted at least once in our message board using lives, either accidentally or on purpose.

I don't double post often, but when I do it's usually because my computer is being slow and I hit the post button a few times too many. :p

I double post to annoy people, wait a great chance to annoy Lezza :D

It looks like some knight didn't move this to feedback, tut, tut xD

I have double posted (accidentally) one time. It was on June 29th, 2001, my first day here, when I was a wee noob. I remember exactly what it was. I told this guy what his name was as the answer to his question, and then I posted again asking another question. Kishi edited my post and put:

EDIT: Drugs are bad. So is double-posting. - Kishi

I've double posted in the site staff forum, otherwise.

Ouch!

I sometimes have the same problem as Rye and press the button too many times and end up with two or three posts of the same thing, then I go back and edit them.

How's this feedback? It's about not liking double posting on accident, not some turd saying "HEY :love::love::love:HEADS I CAN DOULBE POST IF I WANT TO"

Edit: I don't think I've ever double posted, here at least. :greenie:

I don't think I've double posted yet, neither accidentally or on purpose. ^^; Thanks to my lurker tendancies, I managed to pick up that it was a bad thing to do before I even got around to making my first post here. XD;

i always thought double posting always meant you posted the same message two times. But last week or so, i posted two different messages after eachother, so two posts of mine stood next to eachother. And i didnt know it wasnt allowed. How noobish of me :(

You'd think double posting was impossible with the 15 second spam limit, but nooooooo

Kirobaito
06-12-2004, 08:49 PM
I thought it was 30 seconds. Because I've tried posting in two different threads in 30 seconds, and they won't let me.

well, its not very lkely you write a big reply or thread in 30 seconds.

Oh oh!
I think I did double post here, once. It was on an old vb version or something, and I pressed the sumbit reply button twice.

everyone except Raistlin.

That's not true. Raistlin was double posting here when the rest of us were still in diapers.

LOOK, BLEYS, BOU, ANOTHER TARGET :rolleyes2

Anyway, when I double-post, it's usually on purpose.

I think vB3 actually blocks certains forms of double posting (exactly identical posts next to each other at least) from making it through like when you hit the submit button multiple times :p

Edit: This post is a duplicate of a post that you have posted in the last five minutes. You will be redirected to that thread.
