Attached is my desktop. I'm wondering if I can change the quick launch toolbar (top) colors to blue? Same with the taskbar below.

I think theres a program called WindowBlinds that does that, have a look on downloads.com or wait for Archie to come on and give a really detailed description of what to get and how to use it cos he/she is that good! :D

Yeah, you'll have to use something unstable and dodgy like Windowsblinds or hack the .exe and .dll files of Windows itself - you can't change that normally when using the Teletubbies themed Windows, since that "colour" is actually an image and not a colour you can change in display properties. You can change it under the older Win2K theme, but that has a nasty side effect of also changing the colour of several other components including tabs, buttons and other 3D objects which I don't think you'd want it doing.

I've been using the unregistered Windowblinds for quite a few months and I haven't noticed anything bad about them, but then I probably wouldn't recognize bad if I saw it. I like them though because I get to use my nice greenish colour that I like. :)

www.windowblinds.net I think this is the address.

I've been using it for a while too. It's neat.

Neat, as in bloated and buggy. I've had bad experience with Windowblinds. It's an ugly hack.

Not like using it will make that much of a difference in the ugly bloated hack that Windows itself is.

I stopped using Windowsblind.

It was cool, yes, but that window that says I need to register is very annoying. Often times, it pops up at the most annoying time, and once it was nearly impossible to close it. ><

For $19.95 I might register just to get rid of that window from popping up. :)

yeah, i tried it. It's cool, I never encountered the pop-up yet, but if it's that irritating, I think I might not be able to use window bind. So there is no other way other than that?

It pops up only a couple of times and day. I just click on the Continue button and it goes away after 5 seconds.

Get a key generator and crack it. :)

You know something? Windowblinds may be the only program I use that I don't 'crack', or even bother finding a 'crack'
