Anyone ever been to Las Vegas? I live fairly close, so its a common weekend destination around here. I've been a couple of times, but I recently turned 21 and am about to go with my boyfriend until Friday.

Anyone been there? Enjoy gambling? Visit the Bunny Ranch? Any interesting stories?

We're staying at the Tropicana because I wanted to stay at a place with a nice pool. I like pools. :o

My sisters took me, but it wasn't that fun since I couldn't gamble. We went to M&M World though, and I got pink and purple and black M&M's, which were neat.

Tropicana has an awesome pool. I stayed there the first time I went to Vegas when I was a kid. I think I've been there about.. 9 times. Monte Carlo is my favorite hotel (that I've stayed in). I haven't been there since my 21st birthday though. I gotta go again sometime.

I've only stayed in some downtown place before and my mom's cousin's house. The downtown place was nice because the guy my mom was golddigging (only guy she did that with, but it was awesome) sprung for a big room with a two-person spa in the middle of the staircase. We also went to the children's museum and saw Sigfried and Roy.

It's boring if you can't gamble. It was hot, so I just stayed at the arcade all day. I stayed at the Luxor.

I've only been to Vegas in passing, never really strayed down the main strip. It's something I'd definitely enjoy doing sometime soon.

I've only been to Vegas briefly, but I've stayed at State Line and Laughlin.

I like Nevada as a whole, because you can get hooker trading cards! They have them in those free newspaper boxes, and it has a picture of a girl (or guy) and a little blurb about why you should order them. I love collecting them!

I'm going with Mandee and a lot of our friends in July. I'm so excited. We're staying at the Flamingo. My days will be spent poolside, by night I'll be playing nickle slots and drinking free booze! Yay!

I've been to Vegas a couple times... I never gambled because I wasn't old enough... My family plans to go after my graduation too... I dunno if I'm gonna gamble this time even though I'm old enough... I'm horrible at gambling in video games, so I might just hit the arcades like I always do (the arcades in Vegas suck, though - go figure). I remember the last time I went there, I wen to the Excalibur arcade while my family was gambling and I was playing Soul Calibur II, and all these people challenged me, but I beat em' all... I had like a 9 or 10 win streak, and then this big guy challenged me and I beat him too, but he got all pissed off! He was like all cussing and being scary... I thought he was gonna punch me in the mouth. He kept rematching me and I kept beating him and he got more and more mad... I thought about letting him win since I was really scared, but decided my pride was more important- heehee! He just left after a few more games. Hmmm... now that I think about it, not a very exciting story... Sorry for wasting the time of those who read it.

Haven't been in a few years. The last time I went we caught a couple of Phish concerts and stayed up until 4 in the morning every morning playing nickle slots and drinking Coronas. Good stuff. :)

Big towns like that can be slick because fancy hotels make all their money on gambling and the rooms stay comfortably cheap. There's a trio of hotels in the middle of nowhere near the state line in Nevada - Buffalo Bill's, The Primadonna and *coughmumbledally* - that have fantastic, suite-style rooms for around twenty dollars a night because the twenty-four hour casinos rake in cash. Buffalo Bill's is known for the Desperado, a huge-but-aging coaster i wasn't old enough to find the bravery to ride when we were there oh so long ago.

I went to Las Vegas once. It was very fun. I remember going to some of the stores and buying things with my mom. It's a very fun place. I went to this M&M place where they had M&M colos I have never seen before.

And oh yeah, I visited Vegas when I was 15. My family stayed at the Flamingo Hilton. I plan on going back next year when I turn 21, so I hope to have learned hot to gamble efficiently by then. :D
