problems with yahoo

anyone else not able to log into yahoo it says page cannot be displayed and i think it has somethin to do with the new system there puttin in. i tried cleanin my cookies and stuff. anyone else not able to chack yahoo mail?

Yahoo is down currently, thanks to some oh-so-wonderful (please note the sarcasm there) hackers. From what a friend told me, a lot of big ones got hit.

Must be you guys that got infected/hacked, not yahoo :p

I can access it fine, although I got a few timeout errors a few hours ago shortly after my account was upgraded to 100 MB - it seems back to normal now.

They have more than one server, so it's likely that the site could appear to be down for some people but not for others. Or it could be limited in bandwidth so that I was lucky enough to see it but other people would be rejected because there's not enough resources to serve you. Could be that servers in your geographic area are down but over on my side of the country they work. Who knows. It still works fine for me.

Its rejecting people with slower internet connections as they use more bandwidth :D
