After being able to ride Chocobos on the Mi'hen Highroad, there should, without a doubt, be chocobo music playing while you ride. But there isn't.
This is a big letdown in my opinion. Is anyone else disappointed/annoyed by this? The music adds to the whole fun of riding a chocobo. Boo =(

What a coincidence! I got to ride the chocobos for the first time last night on the highroads, and I also noticed there was no chocobo music. Well, at least when you ride one. Its in the game (like the stables in the Calm Lands). I kinda like the highroads music, so it didn't bother me too much.

I'm missing out on more than I thought. I bought all of the music/movie spheres in Luca (I'm so filthy rich) and I listened to it. I was dissappointed to find out its not the same as before. I liked the one from X better.

Yeah it was poop.
Almost as bad as the missing victory fanfare. :(

theres chocobo music in the chocobo ranch in the calm lands where the monster ranch is in ff X
Where Clasko is you mean? That music doesn't sound very choco-ish to me.

They've been using that same basic chocobo and fanfare music for too long. So they tried a new tune, I like them both. I doubt they'll not go back to the way it was in the next installment.
But you are right, they should have been playing the chocobo music while riding the chocobo.
Ouch!

I missed the victory fanfare more than the chocobo music. It's not hard to just slip in the short little bit right after the battle. I don't care what they've got playing while you go to the menu where it tallies exp. and items found, but I just like the little ditty.
I liked the chocobo music from X, however. I don't remember if they used that same song for the chocobo stable in the Calm Lands. I've not played the game in a while, and nothing real stuck out at me to remember.
