How do your phone conversations end? I've noticed that the older I get, the longer they get. It's not just my fault, mind you, I know other people do it too because I hear them. Is it an age thing, or is it just the time we live in? Or are we all just weirdos?

Mine tend to end with "Okay. Yup. Seeya. Bye." Well, the okay and yup are more the end of the conversation but it seems all conversations end that way these days, with either me or the other person saying "Okay" and "Yup".

If I find them getting drawn out, or I start getting bored, I will just hang up in mid sentence, and apologize later.

I end them like this,

*I'm asleep now. Bye.*

Or

*Sorry?? What?? I can't hear you.**hang-up*

Or

*Okay. Bye*

Or

*OmG!! My house is on fire!!**hang-up*

Or

*I left something on the stove. I'll call you back.* (that never happens)

"okey, that's fine, g'bye" is how I usually end phone conversations :p I think it's an age thing, yes. I feel kinda obligated to not have short conversations with people, because I don't want to seem rude or anything. When I was younger I didn't think about that so it was more short and straight to the point. That's what I think anyway :)

Alright, talk to you later.

Alright, see ya.

"Okay then. Bye."

"Meet me a-"

Yeah, I have a tendecy to hang up when people are still talking. Normally they have just said bye too, so I don't think it's rude.

People on phones confuse me :shame:

Keep on shining!

Mine do that, only they tend to restart the conversation, and extend the length of the call antoher ten minutes.

'See you'
'All right'
'Bye'
'Yup, see you tomorrow.'
'Oh, about tomorrrow...'

Geez, I haven't spoken on the phone in forever. Maybe it's because the Internet takes up the phone line. @_@

But I used to end them with "Un-yo yo gangster flow." Yeah. That's right. You heard it here first, folks.

To most people, just, "Okay, byeee".

To someone it's more like, "Okay, bye... I love you!...bye...chuu!...sleep well...have a good day tomorrow..I love you!...byeee!"

Hehe, I suck.

Either, "M'kay, see ya! Bye!"

Or sometimes the other person will usually start up an interesting conversation before I hang up so I'll spend hours on the phone! :D Or at least thats what I tell my parents! ("mom, honestly! I TRIED to hang up, but they were so persuasive!!!")

"Okay, bye." Or, perhaps, "Okay, later." For BJ and my family its "I love you, bye."

Hmm, I don't know if I have a certain way. Probably just "bye."

For telemarketers it's either "I'm not interested" *click* or just *click*

Im really bad at it- whenever I go to say goodbye I find something else to talk about!

CloudDragon

I like getting the last word in, so I'll usually say something like, "Okay, talk to you later, bye." Then if they say something in reply to that, I'll reply yet again. If it's during the night time, I might say something like, "Goodnight, and sweet dreams."

Usually "Thank-you for choosing Bell," since I hate telephones and try not to use them outside of work.

Ok I really need to start saying that.

Normally it's 'see you' or 'bye', and with my family or Greg it's 'love you, bye'. I'm so unoriginal. =0~

Me: Bye
Them: Bye
Me: Bye
Them: Bye
then someone says something like ok... im hanging up, and then they hang up before the other person can say bye. its rather annoying but thats how it always ends up.

When the conversation is nearing it's end i usually just say "bye" and then move the phone away from me ear. people often keep on talking, but since i can't hear what they're saying i have no problem hanging up.
