Where are all the Moogles ?

Where did all the moogles go? You don't even encounter a single moogle in this game...I mean...Moogles are one of FF's trademarks...or am I completely distorded?

There's minimog the card, and minimog if you have a PocketStation to play Choco's little subgame. Otherwise, not that I know of.

Yes there is an item to summon MiniMog into battle as a GF - its called Mog's Amulet I believe. However, either the item is found in the PocketStation mini-game or you have to play the mini-game to activate it. Regardless, without PocketStation, you can't summon MiniMog.

I'm assuming this is a human woman whose name is Moogle, but then you can never be sure...

On the moogle point, yeah Mogs amulet was stuck in the Pocketstation, along with the thing that summons a Moomba. That was what i REALLY wanted. lovely little moombas.... we need more of those. Chocobos, Mogs, and the redheaded cousin....MOOMBAS!!

I also have the PC version, though I never really bothered with the chocobo game. It was just boring. So obviously I never got this moogle summon. I did, however, get the Minimog card. The card game in FFVIII was awesome.

Even still, I don't think it's worth trying to get a pocket station for, I mean, it's one item. Then again there are people who get completely insane over their quest to get everything available in the game, and I suppose they won't rest until they've completed this goal wasting hours of their lives trying to complete video game perfection.

Umm... that's actually one of Xandy's favourite FF if I remember correctly and I think she's talking about the fact that It's SAD [;_;] that there are no moogles in the games thus making it sucky. >< Calling a Cid's Knight a moron is not the most brilliant idea you can have in a day. Especially Xandy since she's super nice!

That flame was really unecessary, she did say her opinion and it wasn't to dis the game, just to share her sadness on the lack of moogles... :mog:

I've also wondered where the moogles went in this game. In my opinion they got replaced with the Moombas because the world of Final Fantasy VIII doesn't fit the Moogle very well. It's too high tech and modern.
