View Full Version : Fixing Outlook Express

This isn't really a request for help but just a way of telling people how to fix it so that their OE links launch in Firefox or another 3rd party browser.

What you have to do is set it as your default browser in Program Access and Defaults, then open up Firefox and goto its options, then click set default browser and it works, I hope this is of some help to someone.

Of course, Outlook Express is extremely unrecommended to use, especially with regards to the recent IE exploit going around lately :p

There'a a patch for Outlook Express <a href="http://gentoo.org">here</a> that'll fix that problem right up for you.

We're not the ones being dense, son.

Firefox = web browser. It has NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH EMAIL
Thunderbird = email client It has NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH WEB BROWSING

Catch?

The only things Firefox and Thunderbird have in common is that both kick ass and both were coded by the Mozilla team.
