I'm in the unbalanced word, have defeated four dragons, have all my characters except Shadow, whom, at the Coliseum, refuses to fight me no matter how many times I bet the Striker. Instead some walking inflammation comes out and blows me away.

Also, at the Coliseum, I bet the Ragnorak sword and got Illumina, but now my Ragnorak sword is gone! What the Hell?!

Betting the Striker should get you Shadow, as long as you've done his sidequest of rescuing him from the cave in the Veldt.

As for the Coliseum, you lose the item you bet. The idea is that you get something better in return. So when you bet Ragnorak, you win Illumina, which is the best sword in the game.

You can access Kefka's Tower as soon as you get the Falcon. Everything that comes after that is optional.

If Shadow isnt fighting you, then that means you havent saved Shadow yet. He should be at the end of the Cave on the Veldt. If you found Relm there, then you didnt wait for Shadow at the Floating Continent, and he's teh dead.
