I have had a few in my life, and it has always been while under the influence of alcohol. Not to say that on alcohol I always have one-night stands, because I've drank MANY MANY more times than I've had a one-night stand. I personally don't like the idea of a one-night stand, it's just sex for sex's sake and nothing more, I like sex to have at least some kind of meaning. But, being in a situation where one might have a one-night stand is far different than being on the outside talking about it. Just use a codom.

Sex means different things to different people in different situations. And you can't classify all one night stands as being the same, because they're not. Sometimes feelings happen that quickly, and sometimes people just want sex. Sex doesn't have to equate to love.

A friend of mine told me one night stands are one of humans greatest things, since there's no devotion involved. No buying flowers or anything, just sex. And if anything you catch doesn't bite, itch or weep it should be fine.

I have no problem with it. i dont think people should HAVE to be in love to have sex. i don't think one night stands are all that wise, as you can catch diseases and whatnot, but other than that they are perfectly fine. just use a condom and have lots and lots of sex. its all fine by me.
