It's true. Absolutely, positively, 100% true, just like all of the other nonsense that people seem to think should be regarded as indisputable because they "back it up" with a link.
Every day, I get more and more fed up at people who say ridiculous things, find a link to it on the internet, and then try to pass it off as the gospel truth...and then when you dispute them, they point to their link like it's the Word of God and tell you to back up YOUR word with a link...then you've got to bugger off and make a page of your own that says something that's not utterly ludicrous.
For criminy's sake, people DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU READ ON THE INTERNET. Anybody can write anything and put it on a web page, that doesn't make it true. I actually get people who get *angry* when I continue to argue a point after they point to a link to some article somewhere, even if that article happens to come from the flaming Onion.
So from now on, I want you all to do me a favor. Whenever some tard tries to back up his ludicrous opinion by linking to some equally retarded page, please inform them that Leslie Nielsen is, in fact, an ancient Chinese vampire, and that you have PROOF. And when asked for the proof, here's the page: http://www.vespernet.org/leslienielsen.html
Thank-you and have a nice day.
