Marlon Brando has died at the age of 80. Pretty sad since I'm a big Godfather fan, but it's still pretty sad in general.

Was he running around in a garden with his grandson when he died? Sorry, bad joke.

A sad day for all people who were fans of the movies or of acting. From the first moment he stepped on stage or the screen, he gave an image that had never been seen before. Brando was probably the first actor to really delve deeply into the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a character as he seemed to meld into the role and not be playing a character, but was instead playing himself, as he WAS the character.

Sure, as he got older, he put on weight and seemed to sort of not attempt as much, but his volume of work speaks for itself. Anyone who considers themselves actors, actresses, or movie fans knows that today is indeed a dark day as we've all lost yet another iconic legend.

Take care all.

Truly one of the most gifted actors to ever grace the big screen. God, he was such an amazing actor.

It's incredibly sad to lose yet another legend, especially one who gave the world some of the most iconic moments in cinematic history and defined acting as we know it today. But I hope he can finally find peace after all he's been through.

A tremendous loss...he will be missed :( :( :(

A great actor, he'll be missed. I guess he put in some awful performances, and his last truly good performance was 25 years ago, but it was worth it for his very best work.

RIP.
