3 endings fools! (spoilers)

so, correct me if im wrong, but there are 3 endings, no?

Okay 1st-limited completionjust kill the final boss, no tidus

2nd- do a certain strain of events, invloving pushing X at the farplane and whatnot, i think? See tidus?

3rd- 100% do ever single solitary thing, and happy ending with tidus and yuna reunited

please help to clarify!

You are right on all those things, but theres one other ending as well! Its the bad ending. If you die during the fight with Vegnagun then it will destroy Spira! hehee

there's actually 5 endings.

- Bad Ending : Spira gets owned if you don't defeat Shuin in time, there is a time limit to kill him.
- Sad Ending: Tidus hugs Yuna as a ghost and she accepts she will neves see him again, that's only if you really screw up, like didn't do enough missions and missed key events.
- Normal Ending: Yuna's on top of the ship with Rikku and Paine [FMV] Spira cheers for her and the three leaders tell a speech.
- Good Ending: You did everything right, you see the 'Normal Ending' and then the end fo FFX when Tidus pops out of the water, it continues on from there, they hug, I cried, life was good!!
- Best Ending: Attain 100%, have all the important events triggered during that game play, you see the Normal Ending, the Good Ending and then you see Tidus and Yuna in Zanarkand talking about WHY he's back.

Poof. 5 endings.

eternalshiva got all the important things. Also note that the Bad, Sad and Best endings are all ingame graphics, and the Normal and Good endings are FMVs. With the Sad ending, you will see it along with the Normal ending. And if you did absolutely nothing to trigger events with Tidus, or you chose not to see him at the end, you will only get the Normal Ending.

thank you for the clarifications, now who wants to tell me how to get the good ending (the one that doesnot require 100%) the one where i at least get to see tidus and yuna togehter. :D

This is a bit incorrect. If you "really screw up", i.e. don't do all the stuff needed to get Tidus back, you will get the normal ending. However, if you press X in the flower field after beating Chapter 5, you'll get an added scene to the normal ending, and that scene is what you call the sad ending. The normal ending FMV (the speech at Luca Stadium and YRP on the top of the Airship) plays after that. If you don't press X, you'll go straight into the Luca part of the normal ending. So I don't think the sad ending is for those who've played the game really poorly because you'll still get the normal ending. If you ask me, sad ending + normal ending > only normal ending.

EDIT: To get the good ending, you need to do the following things:
1) Speak to Maechen in Guadosalam during Chapter 3.
2) Keep whistling (press X) in the Farplane at the end of Chapter 3 until Tidus' ghost escorts you out of there.
3) Whistle (press X) in the flower field after beating Chapter 5. If you do this but didn't do either 1) or 2), you'll get sad and normal ending. If you did all these 3 phases, you'll get normal and happy ending.
