I like it a lot, even though the plot made no sense and was written at the last minute a a handful of epileptic 7 year olds on a budget of 8 shoestrings.

It's definitley my favorite of all FFs. Except for the laguna parts ( most of which I thought were pretty boring), this game was always exciting, fun, and never dull. Story's great, characters are awesome (go irvine!:) ), and....i LIKE junctioning. *nods feverishly* plus, th ending is perect (in my opinion). Play it-you'll never know unless you do. Have fun!

It's one of my favourites. I've beaten 8, 9, 10, 10-2, and played part of FF7, and this is a really good game. What dissapointed me was how we didn't get to know any of the characters well enough. The game really got good during the 3rd disc.

without it, id have to dwell on the plot holes, and the fact that your supporting characters in the story were basically one-dimensional.

i do like it, just has its faults like any game would.

not that bad of a game but im only on the second disc. least favorite of the series so far and ive played 1-10. i dont really like squall. hes the only main character i havent liked yet. cool weapon bad personality. i like zell irvine n quistis but the rest of the characters i could care less about. i do like laguna and his party though (ward n kiros) umm the second disc so far has been really boring. i hope the rest isnt like this. im at the part where u had to find headmaster cid n fight norg and man that was boring then we went mobile and ended up at the fisherman place and i died there and havent picked the game up in about 2 weeks.

FFVIII is a very good game at the beginning, but it got twisted and turned later on in the game. But it is a very good FF game for the play station. Though easily my favorite FF is FFVI.

This thread kind of reminds me of a similar FF9 thread (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?t=38660&page=1&pp=30) I made where I asked whether the game was good or not, and the good choice won big-time.


It was good, not great, but certainly not bad.

I agree with Del. I don't think the game was the best FF ever or even close to that, but it was neat and enjoyable to play, and it had its great emotional moments and events. The music is great, and the storyline didn't bother me anymore on my 2nd time through the game.

I love this game. The story is sometimes weird, and except for Squall and Rinoa, the characters are a bit underdeveloped. But this game was rather emotionally enthralling, and while playing this game I actually cried, which I've never experienced with a game before this one. Very worth buying, not to mention the eye candy.
