There's tons of RPGs and plenty of cross-platform games for PS2. If you cant find a good game, you probably arent looking hard enough.

There's a lot coming out and a lot to be ready for. The best recent release I can think of is Spiderman 2, there's a lot of them though. Mosey down to your local game store. If there isnt anything you like, well then you're pretty much out of luck. I know there's a lot of new stuff on my purchase list.

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorrow came out recently, which I haven't yet had the chance to play but I'm sure it's amazing. Then there's Spiderman 2, which takes elements from GTA in how the gameplay plays out. And if you're really into GTA, check out Driv3r, since the Driver series is prettymuch what inspired the gameplay shift in GTA3.

Kingdom Hearts..its a good game
The fighting system hooked me for the longest time. Its a splenedly awesome rpg/buttkicking/awesome game. But it and you'll be hooked. If you think its stupid because its disney, overlook that. I thought the same thing. Another good game is Dynasty Warriors 4- it gets old if you play it a lot, but its a totally awesome game.

Now I wouldn't mind you saying that if it wasn't for 2 facts:

1. Those 2 games suck. San Andreas is going to be the most chavtacular over the top game ever and it's just not going to be any fun. And all Smackdown games are just poor beat 'Em ups

2. There are loads of good games coming out for the PS2 in the future. Onimusha 3, Dynasty Warriors 4 Empires, Final Fantasy XI (Eventually), Devil May Cry 3, Samurai Warriors, Driver 3 just to mention some. So don't tell me that there are no good games for the PS2 because it's not true.

Fact or Opinion? I say opinion because if you list Driv3r as a good game then you need to be smack up side the head with a...hmmm....*insert object of insanity*. That'll do. Leave up to the readers imagination on that one.

Smackdown while not great beats out any other wreastling game(maybe not Def Jam 2 though). GTA: SA will be awesome. Remember, just because you don't like the games doesn't make them bad games.

I don't have high hopes for GTASA. GTA3 was kikass. It was fresh and new. When VC came out, it added a few things here and there but the concept started getting old. Now I just can't stand playing a GTA for long periods of time as I used to.
You Kirk should stop with all those superficial games as I like to call them. Get RPGs or a racing sim (GT) or even a platformer. Adventures are also good. But the action and beat em ups just don't cut it in the long run.

driver 3 (or as I have to annoyingly call it "driv3r") is an excelent game as soon as you stop trying to play grand theft auto on it. Obviously as a game called driver its about driving and in my opinion its got the best non track based (so thats excluding burnout and Gran turismo) driving on ps2.

hmm, i beleive spaceman spiff had a point, there is no game that everyone loves so there is just loved by more, some of my freinds play absoulote crap but oh well they like it, just keep searching for that elusive great ps2 game that appeals to you
