Belly Button Rings

Some one brought this up on another forum a couple months ago about E3 chicks, but I just witnessed it in real life. Are belly button rings as common as ear rings now? Seriously, I saw these 2 girls and I thought hrmm, that girl looks strange. It was because she didnt have a bellybutton ring and her friend did. Is it that common to have it done now? Dont get me wrong, its hot and all but its gotten to the point where its like whoa? You dont have one?

I don't have a belly ring and while I don't mind those who do. All of my girl friends have them. O_o; I'm to scared I'd end up dying from it or something. Or at least passing out at the pain. I honestly don't know how I got through with my ears getting pierced.

I don't find belly button rings attractive at all. In actual fact, they make me feel quite nauseous. I don't mind other piercings (Eg - ear piercings and nose piercings), but anything that's near the belly button tends to make me feel quite queasy and sick.

I'm a fairly squeamish person, you see.

I like them. A lot of girls have them in my school, and their only around 14. I think they only look good with really flat stomaches, but that's just me. I'd like to get one, but I'd be too afraid to.

Yeah I see them quite often...I don't see anything 'sexy/attractive' about them but they don't bother me either...they're just there. They've become very common with women, yes, but as common as earrings? Not even...I don't see many guys with bellybutton rings.

And what would make a girl without one look odd? Does a girl without earrings look odd? I don't think so.

So short answer is no.

I've seen a few people with them and I think they look quite pretty and are okay if you go out a lot or it's hot so you can show them off. I wouldn't have one personally though. Firstly, because I'm squeamish, and secondly because I don't like to show my stomach off that much xD

This gya kid at my school has one. I think his is a dolphin or something. I saw it out of the cornor of my eye when he was reaching for something. I'm not a fan of body peircings or tattoos. I see them as a form of self mutalation.
