what's the best/coolest lokking weapon

personally i think that the bigger the sword the better so i'm gonna go with sephiroth's sword, anything that kick's that much @$$ deserves to be #1

SEphiroth's weapon is just a katana, a sword used by samurais. I like it, so I guess katanas are my favourite weapons.

Squalls lionheart looks like a piece of cardboard and i havn't gotten far enough in ff7 BECAUSE I CANT FIND A COPY to see clouds ultima weapon. So the.....Exeter (spelling?)

i know they just call it a long sword but in his description it says
"...his giant sword, which only he can handle, has extremley destructive power..."

and mostly i was going on the animation in kingdom hearts, and that picture of him on the case...
his swords at least two feet longer than himself and he's 6'1"
The buster sword's about the same size as cloud and he's 5'7"
(Yeah i know the buster Sword is wider)

Dark.....in most standard ff's yes i do, tho i take your point it didnt even occur to me when i was typing that lol FF is so set up it's cardboard, how everyone allows you to take a turn. your lance wont do much once your on the ground, your bo while still useable will become in practicle in close combat etc

Yeah, I remember playing FFIV when I was 4 and saying, "Why do they just stand there waiting for my to tell them what to do? Are hey stupid?".

well rapiers may be fine, but try useing one on a dragon as big as ....something very big. but what i was actually reffering to about weapons was teh crazy insane shapes...take aurons final weapon for instance, with that huge whole in the tip making the points splay outwards.

that problem with combat was one fo the reasons i kinda looked down on roleplaying games (except ff)....it's a bit sad rolling a dice to decide if you landed your blow when i do it for real, but each to their own.

fraid not.....ive done it for real for 22 years, i teach it for people to face any opponant and any weapon, and katanas are fine in their own world, but outside, especially againt a broadsword, they carnt hold up to real fighting. it's up to you to take me at my word or not, but if i was to fight, a katana would be at the bottom of my list, besides which my farther used to make swords
