my harddrive use to have a sharing security thing so no one else but me(logged on my account) can access it but my dad deceided to reinstall windows because he thinks that it'll help it go faster & get rid of the viruses and stuffs so now i can't access my harddrive anymore is there a way 2 unblock it or make it accessable again without reformating it?

In Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options in the menu, look on the View tab, and untick Use Simple File Sharing. That should bring the tab back so you can fix the security settings on the locked out folders. You might need to have an account with admin rights to do this though.
