Which Race?

If you're playin' FFCC for the first time which race would be the best starter ? please state why.

Well if you want to cast spells faster choose YUKE (I like the black mage one) If your an attacker choose LILTY (I like the bare head one) If you want faster focus attacks choose the SELKIE(I like the shark eyes one) And if you want slightly better defense then pick the CLAVATS( I like the natural one) However the Clavats are somewhat all around bebcause they cast spells kinda fast.

I usually categorize the races like this:

Lilty = Monk (Great strenght, but weak with magic)
Selkie = Thiefs (Fast attackers, good capability)
Yukes = Black Mage (Strong with magic, weak defense)
Clavat = Knight (Great strenght and good defense)
