I just finally got the really rare first album by Evanescence. They only made a certain amount of these, and this CD is an original, not a burnt copy. And I got it only for about $15.00 off Yahoo Auctions. They sell for up to $100 and more in Ebay.

So, for any of you who have the CD or have downloaded it, how do you like it? I really love it. My favourite song on there is Missing, which is a bonus track. The whole CD is pretty good, my only complaints are:

1. In some songs, Amy's voice songs droned out by the music.
2. Ben Moody singing in Anywhere.

well im not sure how many of these are on origins, since i just downloaded individual demo songs...

but Anywhere, Fields of Innocence, Understanding, even in death, ascension of the spirit, give unto me and Eternal are all genius songs.

Someone would have to be really stupid to pay 100$ for music by Evanescence.

I've never even heard Evanescence, and since this Ben Moody supposedly sings country too, I may actually not hate it that much. But I would never pay 100 dollars for a CD.

I woulnd't pay 100 bucks for the ultra rare, out of print "North America Sux" album.i think paying 100 bucks for a rare cd is insane, but each to his own i guess.

Oh, pish posh. There's nothing wrong with spending that much on a CD. Plus, if it's still in good condition, it can be worth much more than $100 in the near future. Guitars cost from up to 2-6 times as much as that CD and people don't think that that's a waste of money.

Chances are, you could find some of the rare tracks on Kazaa-Lite++. So spending that much is freaking stupid. Even if it was sold for $50, it'd still be dumb.

you have a point. i'd spend thousands of dollars on a bass guitar if i had the money. some might say that is crazy. you make a good point, and i'll humbly shut my mouth.

But that would be illegal! We're all goody-goodies here in the US of A.

I understand that it is a lot more worth if it's very rare.
But 100$ is like 5 other cds.

I don't think $100 dollars is too much for a good CD. Some people would spend a load of money on anime DVDs or something, it's what they enjoy. I enjoy music, so I'd spend that much.

But if you look in the right place, you can find it for $10 dollars. (it came to about $15.00 with tax)

My favourite tracks would be Missing (my CD came with bonus tracks, that was one of them,) Field of Innocence, Lies, Eternal, Listen to the Rain and Anywhere.

Ben Moody does sound pretty country, so I guess it's true. But he's only really singing in one song on the CD, Anywhere.
