Questions about "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Childeren"

I couldn't find a topic what was used recently about this subject, so I start a new one. I'm sorry if I mislooked myself. But on the frontside of the eyesonff webpage I saw there were new screenshots. So I looked at them. And then I saw indeed Vincent but also this:

They are Reno and Rude, yes, or am I mistaking??? Then the next image is:

It looks very much like a gunblade like Squall had in FF VIII. Also I saw some images of a girl how, according to me looks a lot like Rinoa.

Is it my mistake or is it good? I hope not, cause then they are going to mix two Final Fantasy's. And that is wrong.

the girl is Tifa lockhart.The gun/sword isnt exactly a gun blade I dont think and they are not mixing the games :p Um, none of your links worked either. Check Advent Children net (http://www.adventchildren.net) for better and more scans/screanshots.You may see more similaritys,but you can clearly see the girl is Tifa.And Cid's in there too ^.^ So,im sorry to say, but your mistaken

Yeah, Square has no intention of mixing the Final Fantasies to my knowledge. As for Advent Children, it is strictly FF7 characters with some completely new characters as well. The fact that Tifa looks like Rinoa is only because most of the FF characters look very similar; Garnet also looks like Rinoa, Tidus is Squall with blonde hair, etc.

I meant that they LOOK alike - Their hairstyles and faces look similar, like many of the FF characters look similar. Obviously the characters' PERSONALITIES are nothing alike. LOL. :rolleyes2

I know they said something about Final Fantasy Before Crisis, where you control Vincent, but they say that it happen 6 years before the crisis, but I also read somewhere that Vincent has been in his coffin for 30 years, so that is technically innacurate, also, one of the pictures of it shows Elena which is impossible because Elena joined in the original Final Fantasy VII..., and yes, there is clearly Tifa there, and I saw one with Red XIII and Cid.


FF before crisis you do not controll vincent. It will be a new game which Vincent is featured in,NOT BC.A game totaly diffrent:P And its not Elena.Its a girl that looks like her.That has been stated by SE i think.

I don't think Tidus looks like Squall at all. I agree with the Garnet-Tifa-Rinoa thing though. It seems like it's always blond guy, brunette girl. It's getting a little old.

The one man, Loz or Yazzu, I believe carries a Gun but not a gunblade. When I first saw this shot, it did look kind of like a gunblade but it shows him in another shot somewhere where he is aiming the gun and you can actually see the barrel so in other words, No it's not a gunblade and no, square is not going to mix FFVIII with FFVII.

Hi, I finished FF7 like 3 years ago and I had a very different impresion of the End. I thought that that the hard decision of Spell Holy was because I´t was going to kill EVERYTHING in the planet, cause humans was damaging it too, And that scene of Midgar sunk on trees and forgotten , oh my god !, I tought everybody have died there and I found it great !, but now I see The traliers of advent children, everybody´s is alive !, midgar is not forgotten !, I just wanna see that movie to solve my doubts, and see if they really die cause of the holy spell !.

Wilder, a lot of people seemed to agree with your assumption of the ending. Many agreed with that theory, however, because there is now Advent Children, we can safely assume that it didn't end like that.

As for the gunblades, they do look like they have some sort of bayonette thing at the end of them, but as far as we've seen from trailers'n'such, they don't use them at close range. I think they're just wierd lookin' guns.

Yes she is. Whether it's a flashback or not has yet to be seen.

It wont even be in the theatres in Japan. It's a DVD only release.

I would just like to say that YES it is a gunblade that Yazoo and sometimes Loz uses. On the highway scene where Cloud and Yazoo fight, you can clearly see the sparks of two blades connecting in fierce battle. So, basically, it's the gunblade Squall always wished he had. C'mon, Everybody knows that Squall wanted to bust some caps in Seifer's behind. Esspecially when he figured out that Rinoa used to be his girlfirend. I wanted to kill him, seriously :mad2:
