They were great. One of those bands that you like all their songs equally. To sibling rivalry got the best of them...

Man, what I would give to have been in England during the Blur vs Oasis wars... ;_;

I was listening to Definitely Maybe the other day :D

Oh, has anyone else watched the Live Forever doco?

I love Oasis. I have What's the Story [Morning Glory] playing constantly on my stereo.

Blur are better. :D

You're learning.

Wait, why do I have an Oasis shirt but not a Blur shirt? That makes less than sense. Anyway, WTSMG? and DM are the best, and only Oasis albums anyone needs, in my extremely biased opinion.

DM got voted best British Album ever by Q Mag, which is disgrace to so many better albums, but whatever. I'm not a big fan.

Oasis are recording a new album. It was sheduled to be relased this year, but was delayed cause of Noel. They played Glastonbury only recently, so who thought they had broke up?
Oasis are a arrogant band, who cannot back it up with decent music. Their last albums were horrid, and while there debuts were good, i feel it's poathetic to rehash the same style of music over and over...Unlike the Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis have no imgination.
However, the Blur vs Oasis was fun. Blur ARE better by the way. And they are still together too.

excuse me for that.
sometimes my brain doesn't function properly.
>.<

oh yeah and the DJ called it "Waterwall" too so it's not entirely my fault.

At this retreat thing I'm on... like 3 of my friends have done nothing but obsess over Oasis... every day they're talking about them, singing the stuff really bad, repeating how "genius" Wonderwall is... yeah ok. It gets really sickening have to hear the music and hear about the band so much. Gah.

First two albums were good. Third was ok. The B-Sides compilation was excellent. I saw them live but they stormed off-stage after four songs so I kinda went off them after that.

WTSMG was pretty orgasmic in my opinion, but i love music to be whiny to, so yeah. Blur was good, but a bit too conventional in my opinion. I find a lot of softer music lends itself to creativity more than harder grunge-tinged stuff.

I was never really into the British grunge stuff, and I dont really know much about the people in the bands. So when I saw the vocalist from Blur talking on T.V (Damien Albarn or something, sorry I dont even know his name!) I was considerably shocked to hear how posh he really is! What a phony. At least Liam Gallagher doesn't have to completely change his voice to be considered good. Saying that, the Blur songs I've heard are usually quite original.

I liked neither Blur nor Oasis.

Both bands were too boring, but especially Oasis. Just droning on.

Bring on...well, anything else really.

We live in a house, a very big house in the country, blah blah blah, something something in the country.

That one wasn't so bad, but park life has many a bad memory attached.

I can agree with that statement. I like Oasis. Hearing their songs makes me feel nostalgic though, which can be annoying.

I disagree completely.
