Which character has the coolest limit break? My favorite one is Laguna's desperado.

I've always thought Seifer's limit break was excessively cruel. Especially in the intro FMV. First, knock 'em down with a fireball, then hit 'em while their down.

Although I'd like to say Squall's Lion Heart or Zell's My Final Heaven, I'm going with Rinoa's Wishing Star. Rinoa and Angelo run together into the stars, and they dash and slash all the enemies for huge damage.

Fire-cross was one of his attacks in Lunatic Pandora.

Zell's "Armageddon Fist" (ie. Duel with punch rush, booya, punch rush, booya...) has the greatest damage potential.

Seifer's Limit break is similar the Squall's in that there's a first part followed by a second (Renzokuken - Rough Divide, Fated Circle, Blasting Zone, Lionheart) It can be said that Seifer works in the same way. When you control Seifer, however, he only has Fire Cross - No Mercy. But later when you fight him in Galbadia Garden, he uses Fire Cross - Demon Slice on you. The third one isn't really a limit because Seifer doesn't begin the chain with Fire Cross. Zantetsuken Reverse.

Renzokuken!!!!! definatly. although i prfer blasting zone to lionheart for looks, because blasting zone looks all kool and powerful; whereas lion heart looks more like a rip off of omnislash! aslo i appologyse for any spelling mistakes as i am typing this one handed because im eating pizzza :)

Squall's, and Irvine's probably. The firts time i saw Lionheart it blew me away. Irvine's pulse ammo was also pretty cool to look at.

I've always been fond of the multi-hitters, and since Squall's Renzokuken + Lionheart hits the most with the most damage per hit (Fast Ammo is too weak), Squall gets my vote.

Just remembered, you could probably get Zell's limit to hit more times than the Renzokuken + Lionheart limit, but that would take a lot of quick button mashing and work...so I'll stick with Squall.

A sword? mine never had a sword. Just the enemy sitting in a pretty field and then three flowers grow in front of it/them and then it says "The end" and the background fades and they die.

I agree about Quistis's Degenerator, I couldn't level without it ^_^ went to island of heaven and hell or w/e(been a while since I played 8) and just used that on those monsters, but lionheart was amazing, too, just rare to happen.

I know all about seifer and his limit breaks are the coolest..but reply to someone else thread..notice that seifer uses fira on deamon slice but on inverted rez. no fire attack is used thats because you missed bloodshed. bloodshed is use when you fight him in the lunatic pandora. he will use firaga then jump up into the air and slash a hugh red cross onto the ground this causes and explosion sinking the enemy into a "real" fire cross the burn and go into the ground evenually coming back up that is one of seifers best attacks and i only wish all four limit breaks could be used i can put him on my team but i only get no mercy if i hack the code i will post it on this web site asap... i will tell you to put seifer on your team and keep him go to cheat code central and thats all you need sorry to inturpt i know im a rookie at posting in this web site i just thought i would explane y seifers limit break is the best.......

It occurs to me Laguna and Co. never dropped low enough for me to see their breaks. I'll have to check it out.

As for the others, I was always most exited to get Squall's, with Quistis a very close second just because of the options at my disposal.

Come to think of it, I've only seen Seifer's when I'm on the recieving end. Hmm...

As for Zell, I've never actually pulled off "Armageddon Fist", though it seems easy enough. Do I just keep hitting the button combos as fast as I can, regardless of whether the menu is on the screen or what combos are on it? I've been waiting for the menus to show up and trying to pick from the options there, which usually results in a random assortment of attacks, sometimes followed up by a finisher.

Lion Heart is an outstanding limit, if the game likes you enough to let you pull it off. that is its only downfall.

I didn;t even know about the Lionheart limit because I don't check them, I just go and get the best weapons. When he started beating up Ulti with Lionheart I just stared. Renzokuken + lionheart owns lionheart does a round of 8-15 lashes up to 9999 damage each hit give that attack to the weapons and your burnt toast

hmmm when i used irvines limit on omega it only did 3000 damage then 0 on ultima it did 5000 4 times proving ultima has low defense

Zell's limit (if you use the armageddon fist combo) is the strongest by far. Rinoa's angel wing (using the meteor trick) is better than Renzokuken (even if Lionheart happened every other time) as well (especially against Ultimecia) and easier to set up.

The game is already easy without hacking, what is the point. :(

I have tried to see how it works but its quite confusing....?

As for repeatadly doing invincible moons.... She always does that to me.. .so I make her a spell caster and just renew invincible moon every now and then... makes it absurbidly easy.

And with the Lionheart I almost Always get the Lionheart as the second part. I think the exact number was I succeded in getting the lionheart 65/70 times or some such. So for me Lionheart definately is one of the strongest(don't like button mashing since my controler already doesn't work too well... so zell's don't work too well with me).

Quistis and her mighty guard is cool as well.... very nice move.

With Selphie I like her to cast free auras, her cure all(The one that heals everyone.. I think that is the name anyways), and if I am lucky the end is fun.

Though I'm a bit partial to Quistis, I think her limits kick some major arse. One, they are the most diverse, I think she has one of the large stock of different limits, and Shockwave Pulsar is easily one of the coolest casts in the game. Not to mention, White Wind saved my ass in the last battle. Numerous. Times.

I really think Angel Wing was the best Limit Break in the game, especially when Rinoa has 255 Mag and has got nothing but Meteor stocked. I think that's even more powerful than Lionheart, but I'm not too great at maths.
