ff WEAPON tournment-Group Stage

hey ppl. this is one of two warm up tournments before the ff boss tournment in mid-late August.

this one is the weapon cup. the fearsome weapons will battle for the title of greatest weapon of all. its organised like Euro 2004.

there are four groups and 4 weapon,s in each group. each one will battle the other three in each group. it is 0 points for a loss, 1 point for a draw and 3 points for a win. only the top two scoring weapons can reach the quarter finals.

so please post here or pm me your vote for each match ppl. as in the boss tournment, u can vote 4 any reason u wish, hardness, coolness, personality etc so its very fair systerm.

Nemesis(ffX)-Allmost everything is better with him.

Ultimate(ffVII)-Do I really have to explain why? I think everyone already know that Ultima(te) Weapon is like, my fav existing-thing out of all the FFs.

Group B

Emerald(ffVII)-Emerald could beat FFX2s Omega before the battle actually start.

Ultima(ffVIII)-Not only is Ultima Weapon my fav, but this time it's with my fav Ultima Weapon look.

Group C

Diamond(ffVII)-Ruby's harder but Diamond is cooler.

Ultima(ffX-2)-Oh, I voted Ultima? What a suprise!

Group D

Omega(ffV)-He's great!

Atma(ffVI) V Ultima(ffX)-Can't vote. All because of that Ultima>Altima>Atma theory. So... Atma IS Ultima? There's an Atma sword and there's an Ultima sword... both grows stronger when HP is high. This is like an Ultima V Ultima round and I don't have the heart to vote AGAINST an Ultima... so... yea, no votes from me here.

While the hardest Ultima(ffVIII) prevails over Paragon in a 4-2 classic

the devil of the sands turns over Diamond 5-1

While the ffX Omega(must be pal version) trashes Ultima(ffX-2) 4-2

Group D

and the hardest Omega(ffV) destroys an enemy a million times its size 5-1

while the original Ultima scores on his younger kin, Atma winning 3-2

lol, i,m only gonna have the boss tounment finals, the big one i,ve been planing for ages, then the tournments shall be no more! i,m just using these to work out how 2 like refine the boss tournment finals.

anyway,i,ve decided to push the deadline of round 2 forward(from now on i,m only gonna have 2 full days of voting each round in the group stage). the results are...

Emerald gets another luv victory, this time crushing the hardest boss of ffX-2 4-0

and the hardest Ultima(ffVIII) wins again (3-1)

Ruby swallows Omega(ffX) 4-0, dont u just love whirlsand?

Ultima(X-2) And Diamond play out a 2-2 draw

The first real surprise, the strongest Omega(ffV) losing 3-1 to Atma

Nemesis(ffX) and Omega(ffVIII), God hood against coolness, ends in a final 3-3 draw.

While Ultimate(ffVII) absolutely decimates ff's first super boss Warmech(ffI)5 -1, leaving the poor robot with Zero points :( . however Ultimate still fails to progress.
