Okay, this is something we can be a bit more open on. Feel free to create a creature of any kind and if we like it, it'll become a part of the world. Try not to make them any more intelligent than a chimp.

Gizer - A small reptilian creature that lives in forests and eats bugs. It has black scales and pure white eyes.

That's all I can think of today. :)

OrcZombie. An undead monster that feeds on the living after beating the living daylights out of it's prey with a board with a nail in it, all the while grunting silly things like, *insert Warcraft Orc sounds here*(grunting noises, wolf sounds sort of) It's green, about 7 foot yet has a distinct lack of flesh and moves around looking like, *insert Warcraft Undead animations here* (slow-ish, weirdly)

They tend to travel alone instead of in a group because they're very selfish and would rather have their own food. For this reason, they can be quite easily dealt with.

Tip: If you just take two random things and combine them, it makes a monster.

Rye - No problem.

Mo-Nercy - xDDDDd I can't help but think of a little baby OrcZombie born with a twig and a tiny little nail (I feel sorry for the mother D=). Unfortunately, I don't think I'm looking for monsters just yet - more so animals and so forth. :) No orcs, at the least, as they're more of a humanoid race than a creature. =] Gotta say that made me laugh in my head, though.

Alright. I'll give it another shot then.

Balraj:
Huge snarling wolf things. Comes up to your torso when standing on all fours. They have super strong muscles in their gums so allowing their uber long fangs to move back and forth voluntarily. These fangs act as running implements as well as tools for eating and killing, because they're just so long that they're like legs. The fangs also help to stablise them if they get hit or something (because it's like have 6 legs instead of 4.) I hope I'm explaining this well enough.

The fangs don't get long enough to use for running until they're in their prime and when they do start using it, the fangs quickly wear down and become useless little knobs.

<i>Turnpee</i> - A small monkey-ish creature the size of a miniature poodle with oversized ears and eyes on a larger than normal head. A domesticated animal, often kept as pets and bred for the assortement of colors in their fur (pretty much the entire rainbow). Upper-class denziens pay top-money for Turnpees that have a coat/fur of one solid color, as those are often used to accessorize with the upper-class person's wardrobe.

I'll have a quick go:

Chym-Large, blue skinned lizards with venemous fangs. A bite from a Chym will not kill a human (or humanoid), but the venom causes intense pain and temporary blindness. Chym, like real lizards, are cold-blooded, and only inhabit warm areas.

:save: Angle Wraiths, wraiths dressed in white capes and weilding two-handed swords that sparkle with ligth of the sun. They have angle wings on their backs and can fly (ofcourse). The Angle Wraiths can use curative magics and are good creatures who may only attack if you act offensive against them.

:save: Zeulaxutans, one of the most feared creatures in the world. The lower part of their bodies reminds of a very fat snake with tentacles. The upper part of their bodies reminds of a lizard with four demon arms with long sharp claws. On their backs there's large green fins. And their heads have a gigantic jaw. Their mouths are great and they can swallow 2 humans at once. They have a small horn on their nose and on the backside of their heads they have another tentacle. The eyes looks like big yellow globes.

All the tentacles have a sharp poisoned spike on it. Allmost every part of the body is somehow deadly. Zeulaxutans eat allmost everything and allmost everyone fears them. They can be 14 feet tall. They are NOT friendly at all.

:save: Gormoduns, big lizards with a spike covered shell on their backs. Their skin is very hard but their weakpoint is their trouts. Even tough they prefere to move very slow, they can rush at high speed for a short second to and gore their enemies. Gormoduns are neutral creatures who may attack if you get to close to them. They can be 4,5 feet tall.

So is that a yes or no on the Turnpee?

<i>Slardines</i> - Fist sized fish that are a dietary staple in sea-side towns that have silverish scales.

<i>Gloth</i> - A larger animal that grazes in the plains in colder climates. Covered in thick gray fur they resemble a bear except they have a hunched back, so their body appears to make a 'U' shape. Gloths are slow creatures that are in no hurry and like move slowly, but will move very quickly if provoked or frightened.

<i>Fewly</i> - Similar to our hawks except their coloration is sky blue so that they blend in in the air. Fewlyies can be trained to hunt and retrieve, just like our hawks. Also trained to fight in battles to peck at soldiers eyes and such.

Vortig - An amphibious predator. These animals travel and hunt within schools of up to 15. Residing in mainly lakes, though some have been claimed to have been encountered in the coast, they are the supreme aquatic predator. They are able to swim up to a speed of 30 miles per hour. They use their intelligence to kill their pray, usually animals that are the same size, but will kill bigger prey, when the opportunity comes. They also use their intelligence to evade predators. Being able to save water within their bodies, they are able to go onto land, but only for a span of 7 minutes. On land, they are able to consume their prize, but are completely vulnerable, as they are not quick on land.

well I might as well contribute but instead of making up something like the (booming voice) "mighty blaarghds" thats teh pwnz0rz ill contribute something thats a real modern myth.

I cant be bothered to write it myself so Ill copy and paste.
"sandgoose" (Countries in the Sahara Desert AFRICA): A rather amusing myth, I believe that the sandgoose may have a grain of truth to it. a flightles, goose-like bird said to live in the desert sands and to be completely unafraid of human beings. such a reaction would be expected of an animal which lives on a remote island and has no contact with people, not something in an area where any kind of animal is eaten. the myth goes on to say that the sandgoose can speak in the manner of a human, but I think this is probably due to some form of religious significance given to it by the natives of the region, which would explain it's fearlessness.

Pinchitto [PEEN-CHEE-TOH] - These are small, cute and furry. They have very soft fur. They can be kept at home as pets, but you must feedthem cheese at least 3 times a day, or else they'll bite you, and they have really sharp teeth. They prefer cheddar cheese. :D They are pink in colour, very pink...bright pink, in fact, and they have bright green eyes. Try imagining an extra large hamster, like, about 20 times larger, and this is what you'll you get. And whatever you do; don't leash them. Lemmiwink/s - A small hamster-like rodent, except more rounded. Prefers to live in sheltered areas and scavenges food from the resident hosts; a vermin. Its distinctive features is the parent's ability to protect the young. When a threat is detected the parent gives off a piercing screech, which signals the young to run to its parent and enters its adbominal cavity (also known as anus, anal passage, ass or arse). Fully developed mothers may fit up to 5 of the young, known as hamtaro inside her abdominal cavity. A litter of young averages 8. The Lemmiwink breeds ferociously, doggystyle, for up to 8 seconds at a time. This allows for rampant breeding. They come out at night, mostly, to feed on any morsels, but recent study shows that they prefer the taste of curtains. A fully grown Lemmiwink can be up to 800grams and measures 16 centimetres from nose to tail. They prefer warm, moist conditions, like tropical areas, as that particular climate reminds it of the safety of the mother's abdominal...cavity....

Devela-Man like creature. Takes control of their surrondings(desert, forest, fire, water, Polar) and thus changes their moves and apperance. Desert: quicksand : Removes one character from battle. Forest: Vine Chains: Constricts one character then absorbs it into itself. Fire: Incinerate: Flames surrond a character for 60 seconds then the are dead. Polar: Ice Block : Freezes one character in an ice block for the entire battle. These attcks are activated every 5 hits of damage you do to a devela.

Drakel-Demon creature. Attacks normally except for soul swipe. Soul swipe takes 1/4 of a characters hp and mp.

Capa: Strong, humoniod creatures that live in shallow water. Light green skin, with a dark green shell on it's back and long, dark green hair. Though not smart, they often group together. They eat mostly shellfish, and will sometimes eat trash if food is low.

Kapoleto: Large, strong creatures that resemble humpless camels. Live mostly in the deserts, though they have been found on dry plains. They have only one, large eye, with two small horns on thier heads. They're often alone, though they find mates and will fight other males for the prime female. They are herbavoires, though they can go sometime without eating.

Frayer: Large insects roughly 5-8 feet in length. They live in dark caverns, usually alone. They have about 8-15 feet on each side. They have no eyes, but have about six, 2 foot feelers on their head that they use to navigate. They have a very large mouth and will eat their food whole. They sting their prey with a 2 foot stinger on their rear, which sends a neurotoxin into thier prey.

Neropath: Medium sized man-eating plant. It will release a sweet fragrance into the air, drawing small creatures to it. It then uses it's two tentecles taht arte hidden in it's mouth to grab the creature and place it in it's mouth quickly. Enzymes and acids dissolve the prey and the Neropath uses the nutrients to continue living.

-Houndour- A seemingly regular dog except it's body resembles that of a black panther and it lacks facial features except for a pair of pointy ears and a mouth with sharp sharp teeth. The lack of sight and smell means it's restricted to it's other three senses.

-Pyrona- A strange creature that looks like a big orange coloured seal. It moves by squirting oil from it's mouth and sliding across it. The slickness of the body-produced oil allows the Pyrona to go at speeds up to 100mph. As the name Pyrona suggests, it has the power of pyrokenisis. spirittiles- a cloaked, sword bearing, monkey-type creature. As the hood on there cloak covers most of there face it is very rarely seen but if someone did see there face all that they would see is long shaggy fur and red eyes. A spirittile will attack anyone near them and if they kill someone or something then it will become a spirittile. If a spirittile is killed then it is automatically granted freedom into the next world or reincarnation and all of the spirittiles swords have the same runes on them that if de-coded say "free me". They are found in forrests.

that was the best i could do

Species: Arashi
Species population: rare
Species habitat: unknown. Usually seen during thunder storms
Species bio:
No one really knows what this creature of the Storm looks like, seeing as how they blend in with thier element. Sometimes, these creatures will come down to the earth in the form of a human. One distinct way to identify them is by the blue symbol of Storms on thier forehead, but for protection, ususally have it covered. Arashi are mostly woman who reproduce asexually when mating season comes around and no male is within their reach. Arashi like to listen to music, mostly rock or soft melodies, but are esspecially drawn to a certain song by dking. Arashi like to frolic within the clouds where the most electricity can be found, and can often be found there. BUT BE WARNED! Some Arashi are very bad tempered and will kill people they think will harm them, but help those of good hearts

Galnap
Environment: Any aquatic
Encounter: Rare

Galnaps are large, carniverous plants which float at the surface of the water. They have a bulbous central section, with a multitude of tenderlils. Galnaps move slowly, and so rely on a unique hunting method- they emit a high pitched noise that confuses and puts to sleep other life forms, which they then attack.

Ferrigou
Environment:Any ocean
Encounter:Common

Ferrigou are relatively small fish, never growing more than a half a meter in length. They reproduce at a terrific rate, and are always found in significant numbers. Ferrigou are actually small sharks. They attack with no semblance of intelligence, swarming with an intent to devour or perish in the attempt.

Xelenag
Environment: Deep ocean
Encounter: Very rare

Xelenag are immense, octopus like creatures, covered in bony plates. They are incredibly territorial, for their immence food requirements mean most local environments cannot support more than one of them. They lie near the bottom of the ocean, in shipping lanes or where schools of fish frequent. When a suitable amount of prey is near, they force water through their body creating a vortex which draws in countless fish and smaller boats. Particularly ravenous Xelenags will move closer to the surface in order to attack larger ships, where they combine their vortex attack with their wrapping, crushing tentacles. They have been known to attack warships out of what seems to be a terriotorial instinct as well.

Undead Xelenag
As xelenag but undead. Exceedingly rare, perhaps even only a rumor, as any regualr xelenag which surfaces inevitably reeks of carrion and death. What evidence does exist suggests that they inflict viral infections upon what they attack, but this could again be simply a normal xelenag that was misinterpreted.

Balub
Environment: Any ocean
Encounter: Uncommon

Balubs are immense whales, with 6 fins instead of 2. They are not hostile, but they are also not particularly intelligent, and often damage ships by slamming into them. This is complicated by the spores they emit through their blow holes, which often put to sleep entire ship crews.

Location: Sutaimia and surrounding borders.
Environment: Mainly land, known to wallow in shallow water.
Encounter: Usually at night, few sightings in daylight.

Large 6-legged beasts that are wild in the forests of Sutaimia and surrounding countries ON THAT CONTINENT. Will attack any unknown being or species on site if provoked. Is trained by the SSO (Sutaimian Special Ops) to tactical and military conquests. Is known to have poisoness saliva yet theraputic blood. Has three eyes, two for daylight, one adept at night vision.
Scientists have found that the Beasts have litters of between 8 and 14 pups with a survival rate of 99.3% every eight years and have been known to live for 50 years in captivity and 45 years in the wild. There are an estimated 50 000 in the forests of Sutaimia alone and have been place on the Animal Preservation List.

Rysan snow beast
environment: Rysia snow fields
encounter: Uncommon

The snow beasts of Rysa are ursine creatures, appearing much like slender, sleek bears. They are pack animals, moving in groups between 4 and 12. Their broad paws allow them to move across the surface of delicate ice and snow with relative ease. Their mottled white fur gives them a disturbing amount of camoflauge. They are fairly intelligent, able to make effective use of pack tactics- attacking from several directions at once and cutting off individual members of groups. The same claws long claws they use for weapons also makes them effective burrowers, and a single pack will have a burrow network representataive of the size of the pack. Following a snow beast into its burrow is sometimes used as an analogy for an incredibly stupid act in Rysa.

Ublar
Environment: Any cold terrain
Encounter: Uncommon

Ublars appear as exceptionally large, six legged mammoths, with very broad, manipulative feet which allow for navigation of difficult terrain. Ublars are relatively docile omnivores, living off a combination of sparse vegitation, tree leaves, and fish, which they catch by sucking water into their trunks. Ublars are generally good natured, and take training and interaction with other beings very well, and as such make wonderful workhorse animals and very heavy calvary. They are unsuited for offensive operations or trade however as they do not take well to warm climates or sea travel.

Rock drake
Environment: Any mountain
Encounter: Common

Rock drakes are small draconic creatures, growing no longer than two meters from snout to tail. They are incredibly fast and agile, able to scamper across sheer vertical rock faces, cling to the ceilings of caves, and fly through impossibly small openings. They can see well, and can also navigate in complete darkness using echo location. Rock drakes are unintelligent and vicious, killing everything they can before consuming it. They can be found as solitary specimines or packs, but such packs are never well organized and often plauged with infighting, especially over food. Settlements near rock drake haunts consider them a significant nusiance, especially when they lie near trade routes. In such cases, there is often work to be had thinning out their numbers. Rock drake teeth and claws are often used in toolmaking, but despite the incentives to hunt them, their terrific rate of reproduction makes them highly resilient to attempts to get rid of them.

Crowned Golden Drake - A large lizard like creature (15-35 feet head to tail) with golden scales all across his back. Its called a crowned golden drake because on the top and sides of his head, he has many large spikes on top of it for his own defence. Mainly a harmless creature despite its size, it will be threatened if it has young with them. They fear you more then you fear them. The blood of a baby crowned golden drake is supposedly a epic cure for many of todays diseases. They have very dull and rounded off teeth, but their shear size of their jaw is enough to crush a man. They however have a very powerful tail, and know how to use it. The spikes on their head can also impail a man, so be careful around them. They usually travel alone in the deep mainland areas of the world, away from civilazations. It is easy to recognize where they are living though, with the large droppings, and extremely large caves/holes that they dig and live in. If you do stumble opon one and make it agressive to you, then your in trouble. These suckers have been clocked at over 75 miles per hour! a normal human can go around 20 tops. good luck dealing with them, and be safe.
