I'm sure many of you heard of the fight with Danny Williams. A 9 to 1 underdog that looked like Lennox Lewis in some instances.
I was a bit surprised, not by the result, but by how the fight ended. Had Tyson won this fight, he would have signed on to fight 2 or 3 more fights before competing with the heavyweight title. He was suppose to fight the likes of Vitalie Klitschko(sp?) and Chris Byrd.
I'm not sure whether Tyson was really in full control of his emotions and attitudes prior to the Lewis fight or that Lewis just knocked some sense into him, but obviously Tyson is a lot different after that fight. How the hell someone squaders 300 mil and is 38 mil in debt in the span of about 20 years is beyond me.
I can't say Danny Williams is a good fighter, because he's not. Even if he is 32-3, he fights no-names. He even admitted that this is an old Tyson, and that he would take advantage of that. Holyfield was really the only person to beat Tyson in his prime...twice.
I don't know why the fight was on a Friday night, but that doesn't matter. Not like I would've paid to see it. I don't feel sorry for Tyson though, he deserves this. But one thing's for sure, he better find a better way to pay back that gigantic debt. He'll be fighting till he's 50 to pay off those debts, and by then he'll have accumulated so many headshots that he'll make Ali look a scholar. Too bad he didn't realize his career ended 2 years ago.
