Like example in FFX Wakka's HP is over 10,000.

I just want to know.

Nope. Nothing but boss hp can break the 9999 limmit in FF7.

with hp<>mp materia you can boost mp to 9999, the downside is that your max hp will be 999. Havent understood what it's good for yet.

havent tried this but it might be good for the equiped character to keep on casting shodowflare while someone else covers for them.i think that would work

Only FFX has break Hp Limit Weapons/Armor... Well, unless there are some in different games that I haven't heard of.

Well, you can have it on one of the characters that's not in your party... and whenever you need to be cured after battle... then just switch to that character and cure the party (outside battle) then switch back to your third figting character etc.

I cant come up with one logical place you could visit where you would need that or it would be worth even the loading time to switch party twice instead of using a tent or something :P

if I could only train my pets to do that so I wouldn't have to be close to the tv when knight of the bore slashes through the 37th time :)

You could probably use that tactic whilst fighting bizarro sephiroth. That is noted, that you didn't slaughter him with the kor. =/

Equipping lots of Master HP Plus get your HP back up. But there's really no point to it. By the time you get HP<>MP materia you kill everything in one attack anyway and you probably won't have much materia equipped on you at all.

The HP<>MP materia is for getting the limit gauge filled faster.

Technically, some of the moves in FFVIII have a "break damage limit." Kamikazi and Eden are two examples (maximum of 60,000 points of damage if the enemy is in 'Meltdown' status), but that's not HP or MP...

However, in FFVII, no, there is no way to 'break' the max HP limit, and as everyone else has mentioned, the HP<->MP materia will break the max MP limit into whatever the equipping character's max HP is. Put simply, it just switches the max HP and the max MP with each other.

I know that they break attack limits, but I meant their own Hp and MP limits.
