Who was your hardest boss fight??

As for storyline bosses, Lady Yunalesca was by far the hardest boss for me. Most of the Monster Arena fiends were all suppose to be harder than the storyline bosses, so the hardest for me was Neslug, Nemesis wasn't really all that difficult for me.

FFX had pretty easy boss fights throughout. I'd give it to Penance but seeing as we've excluded it, I'd say that Seymour Flux was pretty tough. I've never been able to defeat it without maxing out everyone's ODs beforehand.

the best way to beat yunalesca is 2 use Aeons. protect against zombie and mega death.

anyway, i personally count Seymour Fluz as the hardest story only compulsory boss.

and if u cant count Penance, Dark Aeons or monster Arena, then i vote for Pal version Omega weapon. definitly the hardest boss outside the big three areas i mentioned above, with his 999,999 hp he woud have been a worthy last boss.

My hardest test was the large machina dude once you get enar going into Mt. Gagazet. He wasnt really hard, but just pissed me off....a lot...

Nope, since I didn't know of Mega Death first time and none of my party members were zombies. But then I used an Aeon to finish her second form and stuff and beated her without to much problem.

Nemesis-6th hardest boss imho. he is basicalry a Gold version of Omega Weapon and is probably the hardest Weapon ever (though ffV Omega may take that title i dont know).

The Dark aeons Bahamat, Anima, Yojimbo and Magus sisters are much stronger then Nemesis and then...

Penance, he is more or less a VERY twisted incarnation of Alexander. he is almost certainly a Beville Machina too.

Lady Yunalesca followed by Seymour Flux! I think what makes them so difficult is that you have to fight them before you have the chance to do any major training and stat maxing.

Yunaleska followed by Braska's Final Aeon...his second form got me.

But I fought Yunaleska a good 5 times, always getting her down to about
2000 hp and dying at the last second :[

Then finally I went back to Gagazet and overdrived all my chars and aeons,
she was pretty easy that time. ;]

Its a hard decision because i have never lost a battle in FFX, ever. Too easy. Except that Dark Bahamut. Darn that worthless piece of..

The Sancuary Keeper was the hardest (The one with the Photon Wings) because at the time I didn't have reflect :eep:

Hey hey, wait. I never said I hadn't beaten Bahamut. Yojimbo was very easy, Anima was moderate, and the Magus sisters were quite a challenge. Bahamut was damn near impossible, but I beat him.

I have not fought Penance yet, im training.

Anyway, about the talk about Yunalesca, hmm, I beat her the first time through. I was very surprised I did. Because I was begging for the battle to be over... And then she transforms! I was for sure I was going to lose. (I had sensor on in this battle and could read her HP...) So then I push on and am excited because I think I am about to kill her... but then she transforms AGAIN! I thought for SURE I wasn't going to make it... Because I was already struggling on the FIRST form. But... I ended up beating her. Haha. I was shocked. Ah, I will always remember that.

I really personally thought Yunalesca was one of the easiest bosses, I only died on her the first time because I made a stupid move when she only had something like 8000 HP left and I wanted to cry (I hate rewatching those cutscenes...). Now, in respect to my hardest boss at the time of my characters not being powerful would be Evrae, just because I had no armor to protect against petrification and poison, however the only boss that I thought was hard in respect to he killed me a few times was Seymour Flux definately. I am kinda newbie to the game so I haven't played the Dark Aeons or anything... (p.s., Ultima and Omega were much easier than I was anticipating :( )

remember Omega is actually a worthy foe in the PAL version. still a bit easier then the ffVIII Omega though(its close though).

Well Omega and Ultima weren't really meant to be the super bosses. This
game focused more on getting insane stats in order to fight the Monster
Ranch bosses rather than Ultima and Omega.

hmm... for me its seymour flux and braska's final aeon but if it's not in the storyline then the dark aeons and penance is on top of the list oh and the 7 battles you had to do before yu yevon if you know what i mean... they get harder when you train too much!

i defeated the first seymour, which was pretty hard cuz his anima but i beat it wit my first try.

and the second seymour was FREAKING easy, holy hell i didnt even need to try on that one lmao.
