Back in the day when saying "lol" didn't make it's user look stupid, I think I once said "lol" (Pronounced lol, not el-oh-el, that would be dumb).

I still feel the shame today. Oh well, pomegramate, anyone? :D

It's more nerdy in a chemistry way, but I tend to use the phrase "rate limiting step often," like, "The rate limiting step of how long it takes me to get there is the amount of time I'm stuck on I-90"

Nothing exactly nerdy springs to mind, but I say some dumb stuff on occasion. (!)

I said "Hehe, yeah, he probably has some really cool catchphrase, like..."hello" or something....." the other day. I ment it seriously as well.

Hello?! How is THAT a cool catchphrase??

Well, its not something I said.

Anyway, at a meeting for a school trip, one of the rules said "No PDAs." Me and my friend Brett sat there for five minutes wondering why they were banning PDAs on this trip. I thought maybe if you lost them on the trip you wouldn't be out $100. At first I felt like an idiot, and it was then that I realised that, yes, I am a nerd. :D

I also once signed a friends yearbook with only smilies. :D

I also called a friend of mine gay using C++ code. :D

I once said 'lol' like jebus, and 'brb' as well. and much like him, i still feel the shame today.
Also, i once said "urgle" out of impulse. I still get laughed at for that one. Let's see what else, oh this isnt exactly nerdy, but its just plain stupid. My sister was watching something on the "discovery health" channel and there was this girl high off her ass being carried in on a stretcher. She was acting like a complete moron, and i said, they should have video taped that and showed it to her...

Heh..nothing that I remember that I did..but My friend, whenever he gets loaded, and he grabs anything that resembles a cane, and then repeats the password needed to get into the mine of moria from LoTR, in an over exadurated booming voice...kinda nerdy but not really...:\

Uhm... I can't think of anything off the top of my head. Maybe something something about BJ's hard drive and my etc etc... Stuff I won't go into. xD

The nerdiest thing I can think of was something BJ said he did at work. Some of his co-workers were talking about Star Trek movies and they were trying to figure out what year Star Trek IV came out, and BJ piped in and told them the exact date. He has the poster on his wall, though I don't believe he particularly cares for Star Trek.

(Pronounced lol, not el-oh-el, that would be dumb).
Quite true. It's pronounced "lowl", and I Have siad it out loud...

Well, just tonight I've had some good nerd moments:

Watching South Park, there's an ongoing argument between two nerds about whether the original Star Trek had 72 or 73 episodes...

So I turned and said "Pfft. It had 79!"
I got a pretty wierd look :p (I was right, too!)

Also, thanks to Del's post in the Mindplay thread, I've spent quite a lot of time looking for the tetris theme - now that I finally got a midi copy, it's stuck in my head.

Hmm, I know I've said many extremely nerdy things, and when I remember some of them, I'll be sure to revel in my nerdliness.

Oh, one, while on a roadside clean-up through my school, I was discussing what a position vs. time graph and a velocity vs. time graph of the group moving along the road would look like with one of my friends. That was fun :p.

EDIT: Okay, just a minute ago, when trying to describe how large something on a computer looked, I said "It was like bigworld!", (In reference to Super Mario 3, World 4, naturally :p). And the other person knew what I was takling about.

More of an action, not a saying, but I've memorized thirty-two digits of pi. I would've gone farther if the Windows default calculator would show more .
3.1415926535897932384626433832795... = pi

I've also calculated how many bits would be in a yottabyte, so long as they stick witht the metric naming.
9,671,406,556,917,033,397,649,408 bits = 1 Yottabyte

Oh do not get me started. I might never finish. Magic has been my ultimate source for nerdy things said. All those little jargon-filled arguments amounting to nothing :D

Not to mention all the stupid things said whenever a game shows a turning point in your favour. *shudder*

I quit when DarkSteel was released. The 8th ed - Mirrodin block was a mistake. Everything is broken now. THE SYSTEM IS DOWN PEOPLE! DOWN I SAY! YAAARGH!!!

A casual conversation at the lunch table

Me: Yeah that reminded me of this one time when I was going across the bridge to help take a midgard stronghold and this kobald spiritmaster was walking down the same bridge. We both just kept going hoping that the other didn't see us. After he got far enough away I remembered that I was an albion saracan necromancer for pete sake and I could have taken that midgardian down so easily...
Friend:Wow...you are such a nerd
Me: Hey...Im not the one playing D&D
Friend:True True

Conversation with me and Dominick Pruss: (all taken word for word)

M: I think I have too much time on my hands.
D:how so?
M: Well I was watching the original Matrix and I realized that the one scene where Neo dodges bullets on the roof, that 9 shots where fired but only 8 appeared on the screen. And further more it was the second bullet that never appeared.
D: Hmmmmm, that reminds me (yes he did do this) I was watching the Matrix Reloaded and in the highway chase scene I counted thirteen missing bullets...

The conversation then turned to a phylosophical and technical discussion about the events in MAtrix Revoulotions (horrible sequel). Yeah where nerds.

OK, I thought of one. You know how 1337 speakers say things like roxors and haxors and sexors? Well one, I was on the old IM with my guy Matt, and he was stringing together 1337 insults because he's a n00b like that, and I go "M477 |5 t3|-| coldsores" ...get it, it rhymes with haxors and sex-...

Nevermind.

Ever played Diddy Kong Racing for the N64? During one of the cutscenes with the Octopus, I once said "look at his testicles," instead of "look at his tenticles." Yes, I was the center of humiliation there .

Last night in #eoff, some people were talking about dying their hair, and some girls were talking about how they were getting their roots in, and I said "su gives you roots."

I didn't expect anyone to get it, and I don't think anyone did.

There's a word spelt just like "sux0r", except it starts with an F. It's a euphemism for a whole different word, and I've used it occasionally - but just quietly, under my breath, and only when no-one's been in earshot.

Lesse. I once counted all of the people who get killed and by who in the lobby scene of the matrix (I was trying to make a level of it in Timesplitters 2 though) neo-14 trin-2 by the way.

And I also found out that a body of some random dead person directly behind neo dissapears during the bullet time sequence. I live in a very anti internet enviroment so I kept quite about it.
