I have 2 problems with the PC version and no idea how to get around them :mad2: . My first one is a freezing problem. The game freezes in the prison in Gold Saucer. When Barret is going through his past, the Shinra people start shooting at him and Dyne. They run away and then that girl comes and starts shooting, too. The game freezes when Dyne falls over the cliff and Barret grabs him.
So, I tried to start a new game, but now during Cloud's past (the inn in Kalm) when Cloud and Seph are fighting the dragon, I can't win. I know Cloud is supposed to miss, but Seph always misses too. I can't ever hit the damn dragon to move on with the story. Thanx in advance for any help.

Barret and Dyne scene: It's probably locking up on trying to load the movie supposed to be shown. How long did you wait? FFVII doesn cache any of the movies, so it has to load the whole thing at the point it's to be shown.
Sephiroth missing: That's just plain odd. Sorry, I can't think of any reason that would happen. Try checking is Hit %, if it's low, then that's a problem.

I'm not too sure how long I waited. I think the longest I let it run was about 10 mins. How would I check Seph's hit %, I don't think I get time to check out my stats. It goes right from the truck scene to the battle.

No, the first problem is that you have the PC version.

I have the PC version, and that never happened to me. So there :P. Although, it did lock up once, when I was battling Bizarro Sephiroth.
You're right, I don't think you can check before that battle. Well then, go get a PS for $50, and the PS version of FFVII for $15. Problem solved .

So true. I guess it is time to get the PS version, the PC version has been nothing but trouble since I installed it.
