I think turn based gameplay, decent storyline and summon spells should be added to the DS version! I think it would improve the game a lot! The DS is nintendos new handheld not a GB though! :D

Something actually worth playing should be added to CC for ds, or a system worth buying

I'll say this much, it'll make item management easier.... On the other hand, it'll still be FF:CC, which means people will whine about how Square has sold out or lost all their creativity or something.
I FORSEE IT!

Hopefully it will have online play, and the ability to leave a stupid little circle of protectiveness! And if the chalice is still required, hopefully you'll be able to have a moogle carry it in multiplayer mode, as well.

yeah the only thing that bothered me was carrying the chalice, but still, i dont think they'll remake the whole game just for a few more sales.

I think all they really need to do is make it a level up growth system and Moogle in multiplayer mode and to keep it real time.

Do you have any proof of this? I remember a certain 9 year old spreading rumors that FF7: DoC was coming to gamecube and showed everyone a screenshot from PS2.

FF:CC for the DS has been confirmed. Here's a link to GameStop's preorder page of the game:

Yea, I think perhaps a level up system would be nice... as well as summons and stuff... there should also be more teamwork oriented puzzles like they had in Four Swords. That was a lot of fun.

I disagree here. I think if anything they need to take the emphasis off of becoming stronger. Games like this are meant to be fast paced, but FFCC plays like a long series of dungeon crawls, and that puts a lot of people off. 4 Swords really nailed down GBA connectivity. If Squenix can tweak FFCC to play more quickly I'd love to see it. Otherwise, I'd like to see it. I don't think FFCC sucked, but I think that it's actually LESS fun in multiplayer than in single player just because of all the awkward play mechanics that hamper it down.
