I've designed a web site and have been working on adding content to it for the past few days. It's a Jonny Quest fan site because there aren't really any good Jonny Quest fan sites (which probably equals no Jonny Quest fans, but whatever).

I would appreciate some feedback on the design. It uses java and frames, but I tried to keep it simple so that all browsers can view it without tears.

Okies, first off nice clean layout, easy to use and hard to confuse.

It is nice though, my only real problem is the banners too big making the bottom of the page too small to really browse easly, especially if your running 800x600, maybe make the banner not so high probably by moving the advert banner and visitor number onto the main page, but again nice layout :D

Yeah, I thought that might be a problem. My res is 1200x1600 ow whatever the hell the big one is, so it looks great to me. xD

I'll consider moving it.

It looks like a really nice layout. I love the banner at the top and those rollover buttons.

Can't really see any big problems with it. I like blue things =)

Thanks. ^_^ Now I just hope I can keep traffic up enough so I don't lose my free hosting.

Really nice layout. Me likes. I just noticed, that in the left navigation bar, the backing blue color is a tad brighter than the main blue color you're using. I'm running opera. It tends to do that to my webpages too. =/

I ran it through i.e, and it looks great, colors all correct, transitions correct, and the images show up. It's not showing correctly in opera for some reason though, I went in and checked all of my preferences, and they all pass off correctly. I also noticed a lot of script outside of the regular UTF-8 encoding, most of which coming after your end comment protocalls ( the ; in stuff.)

Really? I ran it in Opera and it looked fine.

And I have no idea what that last thing you said meant. xD

Oh. xD I went in and viewed the page source. I seen blocks after a number of lines, where they end. Generally, they only show up when you try to view a program exe (or dll, or etc.) file through something like notepad, it's just not the correct encoding. Blocks are generally the default for something unknown.

I see... Oh well, if it's not hurting much then I'm not going to screw with it as my attempt to fix it will turn into me re-making the whole site.

That is a cool design though the scrollbarthing on the frames makes it look not so good.
I like the colour schemes and the buttons. Best of all is that cute little spanner in the under construction sign. xD

Its cool, I likes it. I envy anyone who can design sites. The best I can come up with is a basic table thing. Oh well.
Keep at it Shluppo.

That is a cool design though the scrollbarthing on the frames makes it look not so good. You mean on which frame? I put one for the left menu, and one for the content frame since they're both long enough to require scrolling. I tried to make them match the color-scheme though.
