I keep hearing about this RPG that Square released in Japan called Live A Live or Live Alive or something like that.

Supposedly it deals with different time periods and multiple quests SaGa Frontier style. I haven't played it (perhaps I'll get the ROM someday) but I have heard some of the music from the game and it sounds fantastic.

Has anyone heard of this game? If anyone has played it, is it any good? What is it really about?

It really sucks that this game never saw a US release. I've heard a lot of great things about this game and really can't think of why Square would not want to release it outside of Japan.

>>> I tried that game before, but I dont know japanese so it gets very confusing to play. finally I gave up.
yeah, it deals with different time periods and multiple quests, you start choosing some random characters which lead you to different worlds or something.

Edit- I just found the translated ROM

Whoa! You found the translation? You, sir, are GOD.

I'm going to get to work on this game as soon as I finish Awful Fantasy. I actually want to start this game right now, but Awful Fantasy is giving me sass. Whenever I load a different rom into the emulator my Awful Fantasy files get deleted, so I have to finish the whole thing without loading a different ROM.

I have a feeling this game is going to be a lot like E.V.O. which would be pretty cool.

>>> Awful Fantasy? is that a Snes game?
Try to upgrade your Snes emulator to a newer version..

I'm using Zsnes because I hear it's the best.

Question though:

If I upgrade the emulator, will I lose my position in the ROM I am currently playing?

>>> i`ve never used Zsnes, I use Snes 9x..
I dont know about Zsnes but in Snes9x there is two ways to save in the emulator, using the save option within the game or use savestates. savestates are files stored somewhere in the rom folders (freeze states), those files arent deleted unless you do it manually so is very difficult lose any data using them..
