View Full Version : Stance on psychoactive substances?

I'm confused as to what is considered "offensive" in regards to conversing about psychoactives, for example I've seen many people go unmolested for posting irrational and uneducated comments such as "stupid druggies" or "worthless scum" etc. However when someone who has the least bit of objective knowledge regarding the subject tries to debunk the DARE propaganda that most people here believe in, they get modded and/or banned? Could someone please explain the logic in this reasoning?

Yes, please do so. Otherwise I have not seen anything of the sort you speak of.

Ditto :p
My guess without seeing anything though is that the generic comments like "stupid alcoholics" is exactly what it is, generic, whilst the the other people are making implied read-between-the-lines targeted remarks at particular members of the forum, which is not what we want around here.

We've never banned someone just for talking about drugs.
EDIT: Oh yeah, we did that once. It was a constant subject in just about every post regardless of the thread topic, and after being asked to tone it down he continued to give out drug recipes and such so he was banned.

Well it just so happens that the person you're talking about who was mentioned in this thread is a.... friend of a friend of mine.. yeah. So anyways, thanks for clearing that up.

Yeah, we gathered that. xD
We know there are people here who do drugs and don't have a problem bringing it up, and while I don't think anyone on EoFF's staff particularly approves of drug use, none of us have ever suggested banning someone just for talking about it. It's just with this particular person we're speaking of, it became an issue and he did not appear willing to compromise on it.

*gasp* And now you banned him JUST for asking about drug threads? Good lord, EoFF is the most corrupt organization I have ever seen!!!111
It's a good thing the great pornography revolution will end your reign of tyranny soon, or else the great drug revolution would have to.

Oh, poop on you, Doomy.
In case you couldn't tell, when someone says they're "a friend of a friend of someone who got banned from here," they are their friend's friend.

But I can't live with out my generalizations. I don't like walking down dark alleys because they scare me because of all the horrible things that happen in them. I gerneralized the alley!!! WHAT WILL I DO :crying2:

It's true. What a dumbass. Poor Axethorn Stonehammer, but that's what happens when you do dumb crap.
edit: Point taken, Del. :)

Hey, even if they're banned, don't insult them. There's no need for that. Thanks. :)

Can't see a reason for this thread anymore, since the starter was banned and the issue is being dealt with.
