Long story short:

I was trading Pokemon with my friend, and she told me that she would give me her Latios for my Kyogre. I said yes, and we traded. I went to my PC in the game(you use it to withdraw and deposit pokemon) and I dicovered that my Latias was gone. I looked everywhere; my PC, my friends PC, and my pokedex. She was gone. What is weird is my pokedex still had info on her. What happened to her and how do I get her back?

EDIT:I had Sapphire and she had Ruby. I used a Game boy advance SP and she used a game boy advance

I know the problem with trading them on game boy is if you turn it off or stop the trade too quickly you may accidently loose or copy a pokemon.

She ran away.Pokemon can't run away once you catch them.

You can release pokemon in the wild, but when it comes to Latias, she won't appear again when you release her because there's only one of her.

Sounds like just a random glitch. I remember stuff happening like that in the old Red and Blue versions with Missingno, though I'd imagine they had fixed that bug by now.

Missingno isn't a valid pokemon anyway.

I know. When you caught it it would delete some of your pokemon and screw your game up. I was mentioning it because it sounds similar to waht happened to here.

Sounds like just a random glitch. I remember stuff happening like that in the old Red and Blue versions with Missingno, though I'd imagine they had fixed that bug by now.I did encounter a missingno in the game about two weeks ago and I ran away from it. It looked like a big question mark in a ball, like the empty spaces in the pokedex. Do you think that had anything to do with Latias dissapearing?

Dixie, I think that's either, yet another, Pokemon game glitch. Or you probably forgot to save after you caught the creature.

I caught Latias about a month ago and I saved after I caught her.

What I really want to know is why it was her and how to get her back.

Missingo was the shizzle. You get a special surprise if you trade it to Gold or up. ^^;

I left Latias in the day care center so she can gain levels. I forgot that I left her there.
