I am having so much trouble getting the Bahamut GF!!
I kept on dying on the third ruby Dragon!! Is there any way to avoid the fights with those dragons?? If there's no way to avoid the battles, how many dragons do I have to go through?

I think it was 2 or 3. the best answers for the questions are always the last choice. The verry last choice before you fight bahamut is hidden. You won't be able to see it but it is the last choice on the list.

I swear its 2.I think. Goes like this. i think
Bahamut:So you wish to fight(or challenge me)
Squall:It is not our will to fight
*Ruby Fight*
Bahamut:So your backing down(or surredering)
Squall:Never
*Ruby Fight*
Bahamut:Fools! Why do you choose to fight?
Squall(hidden option):None of your business*Squall thinks:Why do we fight, blah, blah, blah*
Bahamut:Intresting.

I had some trouble with ruby dragons in the past too, when I was
lvling at Island Closest to Hell and stuff, then I realized that a good
way to avoid getting my butt kicked by Breath was to just have my
weakest characters summon a GF each turn. Also be sure to have
sleep junctioned to everyone, and if you're going to go deeper into the
lab, be aware that you'll have to fight 3 more ruby dragons on lvl 4.
(I just beat Ultima Weapon btw, drew 100 ultimas for all my chars while
I was at it too :D )
Oh and the purpose of life thing...Squall basically just thinks to himself
"It is what we're here for, maybe this is all we were meant to do...etc"
so yes it is basically a "meaning of life" thought.

I'm positive that there is TWO Ruby Dragons, and on the third question, Go down until your answer is pointing at no answer (it's hidden), and you'll fight him. Hopefully, your levels are pretty high because the Mega Flare can be a pain, unless you have Holy Wars, Then you're INVINCIBLE MOO HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...ha....ahem...
Actually, it's better to NOT be at very high levels, but have good junctioning. This means that Bahamut&c:o will be at lower levels as well, while YOU still is very strong thanx to the junctioning.
Hero/Holy War = CHEAP!!!!!!!!!

chaos: Get Cactaur, then learn his ability "Level Down", and use it on the Ruby Dragon's until their attacks go down into the Two Digits...
Rubedo: Or you could do it the honorable way :rolleyes2

*has made this strat too damn many times already and is getting annoyed from people criticizing it, even though it is the undeniable best way to do things*
I'll be generous and give my strat to a cutie like you. *doesn't really know if you're cute or not, is just wishing*
1) Get GF Wannabe- Odin
2) Get GF- Cactuar
3) Learn GF Cactuar's ability- Kamikaze
4) Junction to a character whose HP= 9999
5) Have one other character (probably Zell) whose Str= 255
6) Go To Battleship Island
7) Enter battle w/ Ruby #1
8) As the battle loads, swiftly move the L and R analog sticks in up and down movements, each an alternate of the other. (e.g. if L is up, R is down and vice versa) This will increase your chances of Odin appearing and killing this thing.
9) Enter battle w/ Ruby #2
10) Use Kamikaze.
11) Pummel the mo-fo
12) Enter battle w/ Bahamut
13) Use GF Alexander's ability Revive on KO'ed Character
14) Kamikaze again
15) Pummel until Bahamut falls
*soaks fingers in ice*
EDIT: Hey chaos, Gf Cactuar doesn't have Level Down. That's Tonberry.

not sure if this works. it might.
1. get a black hole.(from gespar, gespar card, or diablos card) and teach quistis degenerater.
2. go to normal battle. pummel quistis till yellow hp
3. go to DEEP SEA REASERCH ISLAND, not battleship island :D
4. fight ruby, degenerate. repeat.
5. at bahamut fight, kill bahamut.

The degenerator strategy worked for me but i always feel like i've cheated! And I've heard you don't get as much EXP if you use it- but I don't know if that's true.

No, Zell officially calls it 'Battleship Island', 'Deep Sea Research Island' makes no sense for where Bahamut is, because he's above sea level. It isn't deep Sea Research Center until you go below the Sea Level, and if it is, IT'S WRONG! Zell says, 'Battleship Island', Squall says, 'Thank you, Mr.-Know-It-All-Zell'.
