Game you like replaying the most

Which games do you like replaying the most. Which game do you seem to get the least bored with even after already beating it.

Though I don't replay games nearly as much anymore. If I had to pick one though it would probably be xenogears. Mainly because it is so story based that it is fun to go back and play it after 6 months to a year or so after pieces of the story have begun to slip your mind again and to go back and piece them back together.

And which games have you tried to go back and play a second time after beating it once and just couldn't make it through a second time through before getting to bored to play any longer.

My main one on that topic would be ff8. The characters just aren't interesting enough.

I can get DMC down to a couple of hours to complete and Prime I can get down to about four hours, using some nice sequence breaking. I know it's nothing compared to some people can play it in an hour or so.

So yes, I can play those several times in just one day.

Megaman 3 is the game that has the most replay value to me. A few months ago I used to play through it several times a day. I would also turn the game on at random times and just pick off a boss for the hell of it, then reset and either redo the stage I just did or do a different one altogether.

I find myself replaying EarthBound every year as well. That game has great replay value. As does Secret of Evermore, which I try to replay every Christmas. I always try to see how high I can get before going to Bugmuck in Evermore. I believe my life record is level 12, which still isn't too high. I even purchased the Amulet of Annihilation from the Mad Monk in Corsair once. I must have beaten on that one monk to the left of the city over 200 times to get enough money for that. Good times.

I can replay any FF other than IX and X-2 because they both suck too much.

Vampire Night. An excellent lightgun game, and one I've played through an infinate number of times.


I could never redo Burnout 2 because some of the stuff I had to do to complete that game was so ludicrously difficult I could never bring myself to delete the data and start again. Just the thought of doing that makes me shudder with fear *shudder*

chaos: I think Xenosaga has the most replay value. I never understood everything in the story 'till my second time playing.

Rubedo: The storyline is way too perplexing to understand the first time anyways. I never knew too much about Wilheim being the leader of Vector Industries 'till I replayed that game.

Usually games where you can do things creatively and the simple elements are fun.

I went through Enter The Matrix in bits and pieces a lot, same with Spider-Man. FFVIII is usually the only FF I'll play without aiming to finish because messing about in the menu is fun. Though I played FFVII a LOT.

The GTA games and Spider-Man 2 I played a lot after getting to the final missions, but that's not really replaying. Still playing Spider-Man 2, man that game has a lot to do...

xenogears by far. what game can match xenogears storywise? its just totally awesome. i'd say its better than FFvii anytime... but its all a matter of opinion
