I just downloaded the game last night so I can't make an account yet without starting the game :p

I meant a user acount for your computer, if you don't already know how to do that it can get more complicated.

So lets just fix your problem

I doubt its realy DirectX's problem so you don't have to worry about DXdiag. Right click the desktop, properties, setting, change the dropdown list to 16 bit.


On the desktop:

Properties
Settings
Color Quality
