ODE TO CHOCOLATE

So little which makes the world again,
Bright as a candle upon a nightly glen,
Chocolate, thou art from Above,
You fill me with the Divine, th'Earthly and Love;
Would this dreary life come to an end,
Without thee, or just trod on, wi' no joy to lend?

Parts of milk and cocoa and perfection,
You are the Emperor of Sugar, God of Confections,
Before thee stands no man or treat,
Who could ever be so god damn sweet,
As thou, my Lover, my Lord, and my Master,
Who is dark as the earth, or white alabaster.

OK HELP ME OUT HERE. >:O WE NEED TO PRAISE THE CHOCOLATE.

'Twas then, a dreary autumn eve,
I crumbled in the nadir of my life.
Like sand draining through a sieve,
My happiness left, replaced by strife.

'Twas then, a figure did emerge,
Her shapely form did quite please mine eye.
Gazing at her I felt a sudden surge,
As if my body was revitalized.

'Twas then, enveloped inside her chest,
Like a waking dream, she faded away.
"Open your hand" her voice did suggest,
As the sun came up and brought on the day.

'Twas then, as I gazed at the marvel,
That rest in my hand, like a magical spell.
Succulent layers of white, brown, and marble,
"Chocolate", I pronounced, and all was well.

Time elapsed since conception: 4 minutes 31 seconds.

Anyway I probably eat more chocolate (the good kind not the bum kind) in a day than everyone else does in their lifetimes. I love chocolate (again the good kind) it's the only thing holding me together... No really my joints are made from chocolate (good chocolate) :D
