Not Halo dummie :P

Basically any plane shooter games?

Basically something like U.N Squadron(Area 88), Gradius, or R-Type around? Where can i find some of these old games?

Are there new ones too? ;-; i miss those old trying to survive plane games. Area 88 is nuts.

I'm more into space shooters like Star Wars Rouge Squadrin. Crimson Skies for XBox was awesome too.

Anyone who says Ikaruga should shush and play Radiant Silvergun.

The greatest and most brilliant shooter in the entire world.

Hard too, but brilliant.

I suggest getting Donpachi and DoDonpachi for arcade (playable in MAME), Dangun Feveron (Fever SOS in international) is a good idea too, and for some just plain insanity get Guwange.

For NeoGeo/CPS1-2 (or rather, to play on Kawaks), I suggest the 19XX games, and then Gigawing and Mars Matrix.

Wonderful games, given me many hours of fun.

That is, if you're willing to spend over £100 :p. Ikaruga is perfectly fine.

Or maybe a few hours downloading the Saturn ISO and a Saturn emulator.

Though, it'd be cheaper just to buy a Sega V-T Cabinet and the chipset, or you could even get a blank eeprom and an eeprom burner and burn the rom onto the board.

Sadly, while I have the Arcade rom, it's not fully supported MAME yet, so I can't play it. Give a few months though, considering how popular a game it is.

I only got to play it for a short while though, when a friend who had a Saturn came round my house. He had that and Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Oh god, the wonderful rare games <3

I am more of a 3D rail shooter. I like games like Panzer Dragoon or Rez.

R-type delta on ps1
R-type final on ps2

some very small specialist shops for games have a lot of old ones or you could always check out some emulators :)

A reply is needed so I will assist.
R-type Final for PS2 is the good shooter you are looking for. over 100 ships to unlock. print out a list somewhere for all 100 fighters. WOW!!!

Gradius V is coming out in a month?? PS2 only again I think.
This is supposed to have great graphics too. Need details somebody.

Ikaruga is out for Game Cube that rocks. Very good. You will develop a part of your mind you did not know existed. Who says video games are not exercise?

G-Darius for PS1 had the most awsome charge beams ever.

Waiting for Gradius V and playing Bloodrayne 1 again until 2 comes out.
Using slo-mo alot this time.
