latent effect equipment

this is a multi part question that I believe I know some of the answer to so bare with me. WTF is latent effect equipment. I believe the pluses only come into effect when you have the right sub-job on but with most of them as hidden stats, how do you really know. Is there a list somewhere of which equipment activates the latent effect with which subjob? Please tell me everything you know :)

Latent effects means that under certain conditions are met, it activates, like yellow hp or certain sub jobs. I dont have a list however ;;
