Getting Mog

[Carnage]

I just completed the magi warrior town part and i wanted to get mog. I followed the wolf to the mountian and i talk to him and he says "halt, dont move or this ones dust" Everytime i get close he says that and i step back automaticly. so i leave and come back and he still says that. How do i get him?
