So who's going away to college/university sometime soon, or already has?

And who's staying at home and being a LOOOSSSSEEEERRRRR and mooching off their parents for at least their first year at uni?

I'm staying at home and...wait, disregard my last statement.

Ok, so I'm staying at home for the first year, but I suppose after the first year is over maybe I'll...uhh...
ehummoveintoaniceflatwithxanderehum or something maybe.

Your plans? And if you're not GOING this time, what will be your plans? Or what were your plans, since you're old and you've left your childhood behind?

On a side note, poor Roogle, moving to Arizona. *prays for his soul*

Rawr!!! I'm staying at home... Mostly because I live about 5 miles from the university.

I'm staying at home. We only live five minutes from campus anyway. That and we couldn't afford a dorm anyway.

I just graduated from college. Don't make me go back, I already have enough debts as it is. :shame:

Roo's moving to AZ? I should stalk him!

I'm going to a community college in two years, about, and I'll be staying at home for that. Mooching off my parents is fun.

Suffice to say, it's a long long story. I went to college/university last year. I will be again in January.

And I agree with Del. Coupla days tops and you'll all be okie dokie.

Staying home and going to Community College, which is a bit of a drive. I'll probably end up in the dorm when I go to University.

I stayed at home for my first three years of college. This year I've transfered to uni, and I'm moving there in less than two weeks.

I am actually going to try to go to Macon State College beginning next year. I have my application and all nearly ready to take in. I will be staying here but I will also be paying for half of this apartment unless other things happen. =P So I wouldn't consider it mooching off my family. My job isn't paying much at the moment, so this is the best choice for the time being.

My sister is in uni and she lives at home. Maybe coz it's just a mile away. Next year, I'll go to uni and I'll probably live at home coz all the med unis here are walking distance to my house.

I'm moving into my rez for my second year at the University of Toronto tomorrow actually. My roomies in first year ddn't drink at all and were quite anti social (even more than I am :p ). Hopefully this year will be different. I'll also be in a unisex dorm ;).

I live about a 45 minute drive from my campus, so rez is one of the only options I have. Plus I like just rolling out of bed, stubling to the Tim Horton's on campus and sitting through my lecture drinking an extra large double-double in my PJ's. :D

Mooching pwns. Really! xP I'm a moochie. But I'd like to go and stay at Uni instead of..um...mooching if I could. Gain independence.

I have never mooched off of my parents. It was very much "happy 18th birthday! where's the rent?", so there, Lindy.

1st/2nd year of uni = boarding at home, being poor.
3rd year = flatting, and then being a spoilt brat at me grandparent's house. So yeah. I DESERVE to mooch off of my grandparents, dammit!

:(

I don't have to go away to college, so I will mooch as I've mooched all my life, until I learn how to survive without mooching.

I'm staying home...'cause that's where I live. Classes start next week and I'll be taking all of them online so that I can work on them around my dayjob, which makes for very long days and nights. So I guess I'll be mooching off of myself. :cat:

I live at Uni, since my parents live on the other side of the planet to my university. I've got one year left on my current degree - and a plan to do more. Debt, here we come!

I'm there right now. It's my first year, and I'm in a dorm.

It's not so bad, though I'm still a bit home-sick.

I'm living at Uni right now...started on the 23rd of August.

My parents only live about 20 minutes away...the only reason I'm living on campus is because my parents work and 'wouldn't be able to take me'...and they won't let me drive the thrid car.

Its alright...at first it felt weird but now I like it. The only thing is, I don't have a job and I still can't get one with no car...for some reason, on the applications they ask you if you have a car...even if you live 3 yards away they STILL want you to have a car, and I dunno how to get into work study, so...meh. I'm still getting money from my parents for little things I need (food, ect), but when it comes time to pay for this I dunno what the hell I'm gonna do. :(
